I've been looking for a midi controller for a little time now. I've decided i'm buying the launchkey mini MK3. The more videos I look knowing i'll have this one in a couple of weeks makes me more and more excited. Can't wait to play around with this!

What parameter did you control with volume knob?
I need only major chords is that possible?
Greetings, just let you know that I'm a big fan of your products! I had the novation nocturn 25, the 1st generation of launchpad and Circuit Groovebox. Now I need an upgrade of a 25 keys keyboard (later a launchpad). I'm going to get the Novation Launchkey Mini MK3, but it's sad that Novation makes a mini version of 25 keys of MK3 and didn't make the version of Novation Launchkey 25 MK3. Anyway, great video!! Wish all the success :)
Hi does the sl mk3 has this kind of chord mode? I checked all the website I can check but there is no related information, please help me😭😭

No, SL MkIII doesn't feature a Fixed Chord Mode like this.
Can you do all this on the larger Launchkey 25?

No. Launchkey 25 [Mk2] doesn't have these features, they're currently exclusive to the new Launchkey Mini [Mk3].
If you select a scale in ableton… would it play major and minor chords of that scale? Thank you

Yes, that's right. Unlike the larger models in the range, Launchkey Mini [Mk3] doesn't feature a dedicated Scale Mode but you could use the included copy of Ableton Live Lite to filter its MIDI output into a scale of your choice using the Scale MIDI device 👍
For some reason, I can only do major chords. Is there a way to play both major and minor or alternate when recording a track?

Fixed Chord mode allows you to save one chord shape and then transpose it across the keyboard. I'm afraid It isn't possible to use multiple fixed chords simultaneously.

If you select a scale in ableton… would it play major and minor chords of that scale? Thank you
what is happening when you choose a certain root note for the chord and then after you set the chord you then play a key that isnt the root note? does it just follow the same amount of intervals as the chord you set but with the new root note you hit?

That's right. Fixed Chord lets you play a chord shape and then transpose it by pressing other keys. The interval or shape remains the same when other keys are pressed.

Other fun fact: This can be combined with the arpeggiator function as well. :)

yes it does.. but sadly this is musically not that useful compared to having user chords on the pads...
When will it be available in india for purchase?

Only an mk3 option for now, mk2 doesn't have it
Does the chord mode work with any sequencer e.g. Beatmaker 3 on IOS? :D

Sure! The Chord Mode can be used with any connected compatible hardware or software.

Hey mate to my knowledge only one chord can be stored (I own a launchkey mini mk3)

You should find that you can essentially just overwrite the existing Fixed Chord with a new one. When you enter the Fixed Chord settings, the stored chord will be erased and a new chord will need to be entered in order to use Fixed Chord again. @@NovationTV Oh silly me, I tried just holding the fixed chord, forgot I had to use shift. Another question, I can't clone patterns with the FL Key 49, only new pattern work, but cloning the selected pattern doesn't work

Did you press and hold the Fixed Chord button and select the notes that you would like to feature in your chord? Is it possible that you might be controlling a Mono synth/plug-in?
