Do you by any chance have MSI afterburner if so that is the reason. I know for sure I have done a factory reset in the problem is fixed. Right after download of MSI afterburner it starts up be careful even after you delete MSI afterburner it will still do it. The only fix unfortunately is to do a factory reset I have done this three times in a row to test my theory and it has worked all 3 times

None of these options are present on my system, and there is no group policy editor. I cant seem to find anything about this feature other than these kind of useless tutorials that achieve nothing. I am frustrated to the point of considering to sell this fucking laptop. It just drives me crazy that I have to constantly change the brightness settings, because I cant see shit on a dark screen because it dims out, and then hurting my eyes on a bright screen because it cranks up the brightness by like 40% even though the brightness hasnt been changed. I just cant imagine a single reason why would someone include a feature like this? It certainly doesnt improve the visual experience, so I'm guessing it has to do with battery saving or something.

None of this was the problem. Nothing else on the computer changes... only the videos. Your video for instance. When I watch it, it is clearly brighter than you intended. The rest of the KZread interface remains unaffected as does my computer screen in general. As soon as I click on another tab or window in my browser or click back to my desktop, I will get a quick glimpse of your video as it returns to its intended brightness and contrast just before the page changes. This happens with all youtube videos as well as movies on my hard drive. Has absolutely nothing to do with any of the settings you mentioned in your video. Just letting you know.
