- Fix grip heater and install new rubber grips
- Remove handlebar weight and rubber grip
- Remove the mirror and open control assembly
- Remove the throttle cable
- Locate the heating element connectors
- Measuring voltage and resistance
- Remove fuel tank
- Rebuild cable set of heater element
- Install new rubber grips
- Annual maintenance
- BMW Motorrad R1150R 2003

Thanks! 👍 It is ABS warning light witch is blinking. It should do that every time you switch the ignition on. Here is more info from service manual: Performing BMW Integral ABS self-diagnosis: • Release the brake levers if necessary. • Switch on the ignition. ABS warning light.............................flashes at 4 Hz General warning lamp ........................is continuous - Self-diagnosis is in progress ABS warning light.............................flashes at 1 Hz General warning lamp ...............................goes out - Self-diagnosis successfully completed. Performing BMW Integral ABS pull-away test: • The ABS warning light must go out when a speed of 5 km/h (approx. 3 mph) is reached. The ABS warning light and the general warning light must both be OFF after successful self-diagnosis and the pull-away test.

Nice job. Does your r1150r smoke when you do not start for a few days? Mine started smoking randomly when starting up still if I leave on center stand. Only 55k on mine.

Thanks! I have not noticed. Moisture may form in the exhaust pipe, which may cause white smoke to start ...

I think you need to have your bike begin vaping.
Extremely stupid video. It is usually a worn resistive element in the grip.
