As someone who was obliviously in love with a toxic person, this song really speaks to me. Props to FFDP for their talent and ability to really resonate with people.

Just something about five finger death punch music that just makes you feel things. I've grown up listening to these guys and I can honestly personally say that This band is my number 1 favorite band of all time. Ivan moodys voice man I tell you what

A few years back, I was in a very toxic relationship. Towards the end, when it was all ending, this was definitely on repeat along with the rest of their albums. Powerful, therapeutic and emotional. 🤘

I’m in one right now. Battling on what to do.. He says he loves me but the past couple years are filled only with pain. He says he’s changed. Although, a demon doesn’t just shed his scales and outgrow his horns. Not as quickly as he’s proclaimed to. I wanna be his hero but it’s taking a toll. I have this bitterness and resentment inside me towards him that almost makes me sour at times too. I’m unrecognizable when I look at myself in the mirror.. A chaotic war of love, lust, and despair. FFDP has been my only consolation for years now. Their music is just something different. All of those hits hard in their own specific way. Sometimes I can feel Ivan's pain from his songs and I can't get the same feeling on other band's music. This band has a special place in my heart for the rest of my life, and I can't say thank you enough for saving me from extremely difficult times.

You and me both. It cuts deep into old scars to start healing them. Although nothing could ever erase them, these lyrics and melodies ease the pain. It's amazing how perfect the lyrics describe my experiences and how they made me feel. I would swear sometimes they wrote the lyrics by watching my life unfold. I hate the thought that anyone else went through the same abuse. Thank you Ivan for sharing your pain to help heal others. Fan for life 🖤💙

I was 6 when War Is The Answer released and had no idea about 5fdp till I was in middle school😂 when got your six came out back in 2015 lmao so I was 12 to 13 when I started listening lmao and started playing guitar cause Jason inspired me and still do play guitar thanks to Jason I love him impacted so many people and the band so much in a great fucking way always will be proud to be a 5fdp fan.
