It has always been my favorite. It's always spoken to me. When I moved to a new town I couldn't fit in. I went from a big city to a town with like 1000 people. Every one here knew each other from birth, they were very cold to outsiders.

A lot of 5fdp fans want the heavier songs. I think that's why it's so underrated. Same reason some people had a problem with the brighter side of grey. Personally I think that's bullshit but everyone has their own opinion I guess.

Facts

I'm almost 60 and found out that FFDP music fits to everything I do. Now my neighbors don't like them because I sing along so loud they get tired of it. The only thing that disappoints me about FFDP is they didn't start their band 30 years before they did in 2005. Don't ever leave Ivan your voice is awesome.

This song is also off their War is the Answer album which was when FFDP was in their prime. They are still good don’t get me wrong but, Way of the Fist, War is the Answer and American Capitalist are their best albums hands down.

This song has always played a part of my life since I was really young and going through rough challenges in life; I still fight with bad anxiety and depression to this day and this band has been my saving Grace since then and now. The only band in the world where I have enjoyed every song since 2007 when I picked up your first album. I had already broken my back and after two surgeries I was going to physiotherapy to learn how to walk again, i was at some music store wanting metal music for the day and the name caught my eye. I have had full use of my legs since late of 2008, a lot changed in life and I have experienced things I never though I would be able to. Your music has always been there every step of this journey called life. It's been one hell of a ride and it's not over yet. 🤘

Thank you ffdp for allowing me to show my true emotions. I never cry. But when I listen to your music it brings me to tears it makes me feel human. It makes me happy it calms me down. Again thank you.

One of the original songs that made me fall in love with ffdp a decade ago. You guys keep rocking!

My mom died in April and idk if I would've made it without 5FDP. Their music has literally carried me through the depression and the grief. So from the bottom of my heart Thank You 5FDP.

They did the same for me after I lost my Dad in 2019. Anytime he was in the hospital before that, I would have them blasting to clear my head before going in to see him. They've held me through some very dark days.

For years I thought the lyrics said "it's almost life" and it made sense even so. Such a beautiful song and lyrics either way.

One of my favs from FFDP. Ivan Moody's voice is so versatile and is full of his heart and soul. One of my favorite bands!

Their music has kept me alive so far. Fighting depression and everything else that has been going on the last 5 years. I fight everyday to smile and their music helps me through every day. Keep up the good fight. It is helping no matter what some say.

This song has become part of my life

My wife has been through a lot. From childhood abuse to loosing faith when the church abandoned her for being a young and pregnant. Loosing friends from illness and much more. It honestly just makes me sad, I’m humbled to be by her side through all of this. This song hits so deep I tear up knowing there’s people just like her everywhere. Just know you’re loved and someone somewhere feels the same way ❤️

Sometimes you find a song or hear an old one again, and you find yourself hearing it like you never have before, like you are truly focused on the lyrics, the meaning, even the accompanying instrumental settles in you, under your bones and wrapped around your heart.
