Great video. It amazes me you guys further north(I am in WV) can catch them on top water so early. For me, it is either first thing in morning or late evening.

I had a similar experience when living in VA and NC. I’m gonna post a video this summer about topwater strategies that helped me out when fishing in those conditions. Thanks for watching!

Unfortunately, I know that feeling all too well…I hope you can get another crack at the choppo, I’m starting to really enjoy flinging them around.

I broke mine too 😂.... casted hard right into standing timber. Broke the propeller. But..... not before I caught alot....alot of largies. Black with a 🍊 face .

Are the hooks any good on the choppo when it comes to pike or did you change them out thanks 👍

I don’t think I changed them out in this video. Overall, I think the choppo has good hooks but not a beefy as the whopper plopper.
