On 03-24-2024 My father and I hit Lake Michigan for the first time this year. I had to put my boat together and install a new on board battery charger. The water temp was 41 degrees Fahrenheit, the wind was aggressive out of the South, and the waves were approximately 1 footers. The first fish got on before we could set out the 3rd line. We caught the 2nd fish within minutes later. We thought it was going to be a good day. It then slowed down quite a bit and the wind picked up more. We ended up landed a total of 4 Coho and missed 6 other opportunities. The color was yellow and Copper and they preferred the Hot-N-Tots.
