Nice work mate! Yeah, Nudgee is worth a try. I mainly catch flathead, bream, tailor, Javelin Grunter bream and flounder there. I’ve hooked a queenfish and little Trev there too. It’s a good spot for a walk at low tide flicking lures. Appreciate it mate!

Thanks heaps for the tip mate! I’ll have to head up there for a fish. Do you find it’s most active up there on high or low tide? I’ve heard it’s good on the incoming tides. Appreciate the tip mate & good luck with your fishing.

@@nigiessquidgies your exactly right with the incoming, 1-2 hours after low is my favourite time to go, cast a 15 gram into the bust ups and you can catch anything. My mate caught a 64 cm flattie on a metal which I did not expect.

Thank you very much mate! It was an awesome session. Yes, just at the Kedron Brook Floodway river mouth. Just at Nudgee beach off to the side. It was an awesome session. Not a bad spot, nice and close to Brisbane too. Cheers mate!

Well done. It must have felt great to pull in those fish. Did you film that recently, or before all the rain we’ve had in the last couple of weeks?

Thanks heaps brother! Yes, it was awesome to catch those. Especially in the one session. It’s the first session with these plastics so I’ll have to get some more and have another go soon. This was all filmed yesterday afternoon. After the sun came out! It was hot weather but worth it to get those fish. Thank heaps brother! 🎣 💯

Thanks mate. It’s good to see the water wasn’t too dirty. You must have lost a couple of kilograms of sweat with the humidity. Looking forward to more of your videos.

Hey mate, do you wear waders or anything in this spot? I've fished here a few times and I've been smashed by sea lice here.. :(

  • @nigiessquidgies

Hey mate, I’ve worn waders fishing at similar spots and they are very good to use - I highly recommend them. I’m just wearing jeans, thick socks and strong thongs (a stone fish couldn’t pierce). There are heaps of Mozzies, sand flies, sea lice etc. Plus big sting rays, mud crabs, blue swimmers and I’ve even caught a stone fish here. So I highly recommend some high quality Wilson waders at this spot. If the tide is low (last hour or two) you can walk out without waders. Basically the further out you can get at high tide - the better advantage you have for big fish! Hope you enjoyed the video mate! It was a cracking session with 3 BIG bream. Yew!

@@Haydoe thanks heaps mate & glad you liked the video. Yeah, my biggest bream here was 38.5cm but they are very smart when they get bigger. It’s not easy to get them. Appreciate it brother and good luck with your fishing! 🎣 💯 cheers!
