Fishing for Arctic Grayling in Alaska | Summer Boating Delta Clearwater River
We take a quick break from the Quonset Hut Shop build and head to Delta Clearwater River for a summer day of fishing. Although we didn't catch a fish that we could retain, we had a blast on the water landing these beauties.
We appreciate you tagging along for our Alaskan adventure 😀
Thank you for watching and supporting our channel! 💙

Dog saying to himself: “nothing like being on the water with the wind in my ears surrounded by the Alaskan wild. This is the life.”
Love all your videos but miss when you put the temp and sunrise sunset stats at the beginning.

I like that too. I think they are usually pretty consistent doing that around the summer and winter solstice.

I just love Arielle's enthusiasm! Thank you for taking us along.
I love how you take Bo and Bandit along all the time. Such good boys
I hear talk of Grayling being reintroduced into some Michigan rivers. I hope they can do it, what a beautiful fish.
Love seeing Eric's tan line on his legs..."White socks". You guys are the best.
I had no idea arctic grayling could get so big!! You guys are inspiring us to fish more than we're used to, and it's been great. 😍

The reflection of the trees on the water looks so beautiful. 🥰🥰
We caught Greyling in the Northwest Territories and it was the best tasting fish ever.

That's what we have read! We caught them before off Denali Highway and wish we would have kept one or two to try.
Greyling is one of my favorite fish to catch on a dry fly, I'm a guide here in Sweden and i cant help but to giggle and laugh a bit seeing Eric trying to cast a fly. Also the first time i have ever seen a telescopic flyrod i might add 🤣
Eric is like me, the water is making me cold and Arielle is walking in the water like a 90 degree day. What a woman. It’s good to take some down time from the hard work to relax and do something fun. I I’ve your videos and the adventures. The graylings are big. As many big graylings there are, they could let you have at least a couple for good measure, right! I love your adventures and will keep watching for more. Bye!!
Yeah!!!! So happy for another great adventures ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
Eric’s ankle tan lines are gnarly 😂😂🤣🤣 Awesome fishing!

In the village, we call him tukux̂ qaniqax̂, which means, roughly... the Snow Chief. I think someone else already has the name of Blue Foot.
Dear Eric and Ariel, I love watching your wonderful videos, they're so comforting in a way, I can't describe. Many will feel some jealousy, seeing you guys living and working under such magnificent conditions, and building a good life. Hopefully, maybe some day we get to see kids, that would be lovely to see them playing around, laughing, feeding the chickens, homeschooling, doing the stuff they do. They would be so happy. Take care of yourself and stay safe.
Glad you go to have a day of R&R with all the work you have been doing.
We had a similar experience on the Clearwater in 1960. The fish only wanted a super-duper lure. I was fishing in a canoe with my dad and brother. We traded poles after 2 fish, as we only had the one lure. Thanks for the memories.
Wow what a beautiful creak with clear water, ideal for flying fishing nature at the best.Amazing scenery with stunning tree reflections in clear water.Keep fishing, cooking, eating, camping, traveling, hunting, gardening, canning, working and smiling 😊
Thank you for this wonderful weekend - Saturday morning here - treat 👍🌺❤🇲🇾
Love that river used to fly fish it. The burnt out building in the video looks like the old Clear Water Bar.
Ok but I nearly choked on my garlic bread when Eric deserted the COLD WATER 😂😂🤭
Hi guys. Your treatment and respect for the fish is truly heartwarming. Respect!
I love that Ariel is just walking around in the ice cold water and Eric can’t handle it hahaha
I about died laughing at Eric. He can be so funny at times. Like when the electric fence was stronger than he expected. Your videos make my day!! Loved the fishing too
this place is so beautiful 😍 I could just sit there, and all my stress and anxiety would be gone .
That place is beautiful.. water is so clear. And it's very quiet.

What a beautiful little river!
Yay! Fishing 🎣
Ha, welcome to Delta. Y'all were quite literally a few minutes from my place. I get to the Clearwater thru the woods on my wheeler. Glad you got some nice fish.😊
Love it!! Thank you so much for sharing. I’m advocating for more hour-long shows from you 2. Give us the raw and uncut, we don’t care.
It’s always a good day when you decide to upload a new video for us! Thank you as always for sharing your journeys and experiences with us! See you next video haha!
So glad you guys are able to enjoy the short summer a little between all your work. You’re an example to all of us 😊
Good morning Arielle and Eric. I just woke up and saw the notification. Thanks for the new vlog ❤❤ it’s 6:47 am here in the Philippines ❤❤
Every time I see fly fishing, I think of that movie, "A River Runs Through It" Great movie if y'all have never seen it.
Blessings to y'all
I am glad you two got out for a fun day. Sure beats concrete work. Hope to see you back at the old cabin catching pike.

What a gorgeous day for fishing. Love that beautiful, clear water. God bless y’all! 😀❤️
Good evening from Syracuse NY everyone thank you for sharing your adventures in life and wearing life jackets in your boat
What a great episode! Change of pace was fun and exciting! You deserve to relax Arielle & Eric. It was good to see the pups out and about! See you soon! 💞🐾🐟🎣⚓️
Great video. If I recall correctly, pinks and orange were the colors that worked best for us.
You have been working so hard at building lately it is wonderful to see fishing videos. What beautiful fish. I learn so much from your adventures. Looking forward to the next one as always.
We have them in a small warm water lake here in Montana and they spawn into a creek and attract bears in August usually
I love these videos but my favorite will always be when beau caught a fish while yall were dip netting and he was like, i can do it too
My guide friend always says "Give em what they eat"! This time of year up there salmon are spawning and dying. Anything that looks like salmon chunks or eggs drifting down river will give you a better shot at catching grayling and trout. Good luck and I always enjoy seeing your fishing videos!
Lived my entire life in delta with that river in my backyard, can not beat a white mister twister! Nothing even comes close
Looks like a great day! Had to chuckle at the tan lines on Eric's legs😂
Fly fishing - something Eric can’t do? Give it a couple of days and he’ll be an expert! Beautiful day - the boys are looking chill!
Any day you get to go fishing is a Good one keep up the good times
The old dog is so cute.
You know what they say about all work and no play?😊 I'm glad you were about to take another boat adventure with the pups! The water was beautiful and the fish were plenty.
I very much regret not moving to Alaska when I was a young man. It was calling me but life got in the way.

It's never too late. I came to alaska when I was eight years old i'm almost seventy. And I still love it.
Ariel is running all over, Eric is hiding, lol, what a fantastic video, you 2 are my heros
Love seeing the doggies. It’s been a minute since I’ve watched a video. So happy to see Bo
i was taught that with the fly fishing I had to remember to make little smal low jerks on the pole as your reelling in to simulate the insect on the water movement (darting).
Really enjoyed the video. I hope you guys get to go up the river to your other homestead and catch that giant pike. That is if you still own the property.
Those fish were beautiful
The water is so clear!!
I absolutely love the beau and bandit enjoy going everywhere with you on your adventures ❤️
So glad to see you are able to take some time for fishing! Love seeing Bo and Bandit, too! Those blueberries looked good…
I caught the heck out of the grayling in the Klondike river in Dawson City. Used a small jig with a 1" white twister tail. 12"-16" fish were the norm, it was wild.
LAST YEAR IT WAS THE SAME AT YUKON RIVER. VERY HARD TO CATCH. ANYTHING ... WHEN I LIVED IN CANTUNG NWT IN 70'S, WE COULD CATCH EVERY CAST.......
Good morning! This is just what I needed to see this beautiful day. I am getting married today! I’m a nervous wreck, so watching this relaxing video with our KZread friends is just what I needed. Your fishing skills are so impressive!🐟

Thanks, going fishing early Sunday morning with my son and a few other friends. Normally I would have been fishing but too much rain and humidity for this old asthmatic guy.
