Fishing Arctic Grayling | Alaska's Denali Highway
We were fortunate to be able to take a quick summer trip from Cantwell to Paxson on Alaska's scenic Denali Highway. The views were spectacular and the fishing was a blast!

Same!!! My family has ditched Netflix for you guys.❤️
I sit here living my crappy lower 48 life, shut in my house worrying about coronavirus, not seeing my family, and riots, and hurricanes, and wildfires, and somehow it feels like you guys are on a vacation up there. So thanks for the videos. It’s like it’s normal out there somewhere.
Its like christmas everytime a SLA video is posted! :D
My wife and I (before she was my wife) made the same trip in 1997. We were in a class c rented motorhome. We weren't supposed to be there. It was extremely corrugated! It was the trip of a lifetime! This brought back a lot of memories. Thanks, I really like your channel.
I love watching your videos. I’m able to see and experience Alaska as I will never be able otherwise. What a blessing you are to many! 💕❤️🙏

I totally agree. I dream of one day going to Alaska but I know that I probably won't get there. I am an all day buffet for mosquitoes and I dislike snow. lol So I am living Alaska through Arial and Eric. Such great Photography!!
it's good to see you two get out with the dogs for a little R&R and adventure! you two are always working!!!
Instantly recognized the spot you fished at around the 9min mark: The day use area/boat launch just down the road from Tangle Lakes Lodge :) My father and I went there every year on fathers day for years. Always camped in that spot along the creek before it was made a no camping area and the other one down the road opened up. We even took part in a fishing show there one year, good memories. He's passed, but I was just up there a few weeks ago with the family :)
Love watching your world through your alls eyes, Alaska is my dream and I feel like I get to live it through you two…thank you for being 2 awesome humans 🙌🏽 you guys are rock stars ✨
Didn’t realize the sun shines on the Denali Hwy. Every time I go hunting there it’s a sponge. Great video as always guys.
what a great family holiday !!! everything was a joy to see , hear and experience through your eyes. You 2 should try and get a gig with the state of alaska for a paid vacation series for visitor videos !!!! honest. The video skills just keep getting better and better. Great fishing clips and the drone footage , wonderful bonus birds eye view of each location. thank you :)
I love fishing the clear creek/tangle river every time I hunt the hwy for caribou. Greyling makes a great breakfast!
We have a cabin at the 68 mile marker. So miss that place. what a joy to see all that familiar landscape again.

This is honestly better than a nature documentary
I am reminded why I love your videos so much, the professional quality videography and awesome scenery! Thanks for all you do.
Thank you, Thank you, Thank you! This is probably one of my favorite videos that you guys have done. I'm a huge fan and watch them all but recently asked for a wildlife video and you guys exceeded my hopes. Seeing the beauty of Alaska through your eyes was amazing!
Thank you for taking me with you on this beautiful journey. I've been driving my 2001 PT cruiser for 19 years 10 months. I'm 65. I used to travel but my bad back and old car keep me home.
Thank you SO MUCH for sharing your beautiful State with me. I feel I have e had a real SPECIAL TRIP.
the reason why domestic blueberries dont taste as good as wild is that in order to make the farmed ones more viable crop they crossbred them with another bush-berry not unlike the Saskatoon berry thus making the crop more viable and more of it but diluted the taste by at least 50 percent so wild blueberries are pure but domestic are a diluted crossbreed so its alot more work harvesting them but way worth it and its why wild blueberries are so much more expensive in the store harder to get and harvest.. great vlog of your trip

Loved the views! Linking this video with the Ice Sculpture video gave the opportunity to see some of the same roadways in a different season.
13:46 Wow those scales are a work of art!
Your videos bring back a lot of memories. I was stationed at Ft Richardson from 1970-1976. Loved every minute of it.

My grandparents were stationed there and I'm sorry my Grandma never got to return. She loved telling how when she put Grandpa's shirts on the line outside they were stiff as a board when she brought them in. For a West Texas girl she was overwhelmed by all that beauty.

My little sister is a teacher in North Pole. But I'm in Wasilla so it's just a 6-hour drive for me. Hope you get up to visit your friend...there is no place like Alaska. Drive up from Anchorage if you can, it's unbelievably beautiful. I say this as a life-long Alaskan :)
🇨🇦Absolutely our favourite Channel. Thankyou.
There is nothing like Alaska. I did Paxson to Cantwell in the winter (back when the road was open winters). Completely dark; no light anywhere except from the stars. Quite an other-worldly experience. Thanks for the very cool video.
What a great road trip! Your fur babies sure had a good time!🙂 Beautiful fish! Thanks for taking us along.🙂
Thanks for this years Vacation wonderful trip great filmography
You put a lot of work into this. Very nice job. Thank you for sharing your Alaskan experience. A lot of us will never get there.
I call this the mental health channel. Spiritual too, it is so uplifting for so many around the world.
Oh I miss Alaska so much! We’ve been taking a summer vacation there every year for the past several years and so sad we couldn’t do it this year 😢
Another great Tourist vid! I love those too! Great fishing the greylings! Lovely sporty fish. I love how you two keep enjoying fishing for fun! The scenery around Denali is breathtaking (as is almost anywhere in Alaska!)
Oh my gracious, you guys just seriously turned me on to the most magnificent scenery I've ever experienced in all my 50+ years of life. How could I ever repay you. Thank you from the bottom of my heart! Peace love and big Gypsy hugs ✌🙏

ty for sharing this spectacular road trip so beautiful
I always look forward to your next adventure!! ❤
I just spent an hour or two doing errands, wearing a mask and where there's lots of new construction to figure out a path through. The video made me feel like I'd spent the morning on the open road, with all of the fresh air I needed. Thanks so much for taking us along. It is beautiful country, and the grayling are so pretty, too.

Wow !! That's the longest wooden bridge I have ever seen.. That was a great trip.. Looks like y'all had a great time.. A little jealous here...lol
Another beautiful day. 💖🐱👤
I love the drone footage. It was fun watching you drive along the way.
I love alaska. Went there a few years ago. Beautiful. If I were younger I would move there. Watching you guys and allowed into bits of your life gi es me pleasure. My advice to all dont put aside the things you will regret later in life. Maybe when you get your rental cabin I'll come back to the state i love.
Thank you for this. I'm sure y'all get used to this scenery, but for an old Alabama boy, this is a real treat.

@@wisconsinfarmer4742 - True.. The northernmost part of the state (where I live), is pretty nice, with the Appalachian foothills creating some scenic mountain. But I suppose I'm like most humans.. we get accustomed to our own back yard and long for "greener pastures". :)

That quietness in nature. It is a therapy for those grinding life in bustling cities. For me at least.
