Fishing Arctic Grayling | Alaska's Denali Highway

We were fortunate to be able to take a quick summer trip from Cantwell to Paxson on Alaska's scenic Denali Highway. The views were spectacular and the fishing was a blast!

My wife and I (before she was my wife) made the same trip in 1997. We were in a class c rented motorhome. We weren't supposed to be there. It was extremely corrugated! It was the trip of a lifetime! This brought back a lot of memories. Thanks, I really like your channel.

Instantly recognized the spot you fished at around the 9min mark: The day use area/boat launch just down the road from Tangle Lakes Lodge :) My father and I went there every year on fathers day for years. Always camped in that spot along the creek before it was made a no camping area and the other one down the road opened up. We even took part in a fishing show there one year, good memories. He's passed, but I was just up there a few weeks ago with the family :)

the reason why domestic blueberries dont taste as good as wild is that in order to make the farmed ones more viable crop they crossbred them with another bush-berry not unlike the Saskatoon berry thus making the crop more viable and more of it but diluted the taste by at least 50 percent so wild blueberries are pure but domestic are a diluted crossbreed so its alot more work harvesting them but way worth it and its why wild blueberries are so much more expensive in the store harder to get and harvest.. great vlog of your trip
