Автокөліктер мен көлік құралдары

How easily will the Bugeye start after sitting idle for a couple of months? Once that's done the garage cleanup/reorganization project continues.

One thing I have done with my vintage vehicles in the winter is put the car on jack stands, fire up the engine, and let it run in 3rd or 4th gear for 15 minutes or so, to get things like transmission or differential oil some movement. I honestly don't have any solid evidence that it's doing good, but it can't hurt it. These old cars need to run!

Hadn't thought about that, not a bad idea. Shouldn't be too long before I can get out on the road.

Love your videos. Used to drive my first Bugeye in snow here in NC. It did great with skinny stock bias ply tyres. Had 6or7 Bugeyes, lost count. Two with factory hardtops. Very cozy.

Thank you! I've been very tempted to go for a drive. Upcoming videos will feature the refurbishment of a factory hardtop.

BTWs, the T-Shirts from your merch section are ludicrously good quality. Well worth the money, plus, little Econobox Garage logo as a bonus.

@@EconoboxGarage engine sounds good, I need to figure out a way to film the nose of my car for some of these drives, filming two dozen other MGs, AHs, Alpha Romeros, etc on country road trips.

For this little segment I used my new GoPro Hero 11 Black with a GoPro suction cup mount. I'll be doing some experimenting with different mounting spots in the coming weeks.

I started my Mini R53 the last week of January while in my garage on jack stands. Fired right up. Difficult to resist driving it with the mild Winter we are experiencing. However Minnesota is a heavy road salt state and the Mini has spots on the car which will rust quickly... so it sleeps November to April each year.

Thanks Bill. We have similar winter conditions here too. Hoping to be able to drive the car in late March or early April.

Looks great. Just a small idea, after cold spells in the UK I have had the clutch plate stick a couple of times due to condensation forming on the flywheel as the weather warms up. I now use a dehumidifier and when I start the car I put it in gear to make sure it doesn’t happen again. Perhaps you do the same. Thank you for your brilliant videos.

Thank you Andrew! A good tip for those in damp climates. I'm fortunate in that humidity is not a problem here.

Thank you, Ian. Now I realise why your garage looks so well, compared with mine. We both have approx 400 sq.ft., but you have 10' more wall space than I have*. Yours:- 28+38+14 =70' Mine:- 20+20+20 = 60' * I do realise you have a window in the rear wall, whereas mine has roof-lights. I need to get a skip!

The overhead door is 9ft wide, 8ft high and offset to one side which is how I get all the shelving along the one wall.
