Make a note. When you get to watching Logan, make sure you have tissues. Also, rewatch this because there’s a line here that makes perfect sense.

Hey Reem. Late comment. 50 years ago, Wolverine debuted in Marvel Comics from an appearance with The Incredible Hulk to a newly recruited member with the X--Men. But in 1982, his first-ever solo series by Frank Miller (300, Sin City) and Chris Claremont (1970s X-Men) defined the character of Logan. His story was set in Japan and Logan's life was likened to that of an Ronin (samurai with no master). He has the heart to stand against opposition, but is still learning/finding a direction in life. The film uses elements from the solo series and is set long after the events of X3:The Last Stand. This is Hugh Jackman's 2nd film with director James Mangold following the romantic comedy, Kate & Leopold (2001). Struggling with Jean's death, finding his place in the world and losing his healing temporarily is the most drama. The action, romance, suspense, intrigue of being a Gajin (outsider) caught in someone else's battle really feels like the comics. 2 of the antagoniss;Viper is originally human and known as Madame Hydra in the Captain America comics. Yashida in the Silver Samurai suit is based on the Silver Samurai and Ogun characters/known Wolverine villains. A really good sequel, rightfully steps ahead of and more loved than X-Men Origins:Wolverine. But both Logan & Professor X (solo/together) would soon face even greater obstacles. The evolution was not over and I personally couldn't wait to see so much more in this universe.

As others have said, great reaction. This is great pure science fiction. Love this Wolverine film above all the others. Glad you liked it. As we say in Texas; y'all be safe.

Hey, Reema! "You'll die with your heart in your hands." Remember this line. Its true meaning is incredible. This film captures the essence of the seminal 1983 mini-series written by Chris Claremont and illustrated by Frank Miller simply titled "Wolverine" and even integrates elements of the "Fatal Attractions" storyline that sees Wolvie lose his adamantium. I really enjoyed "The Wolverine"! It's one of the better X-Men movies and the only one to explore Logan's many Japanese sojourns over the years in the comics. I wish you had seen the EXTENDED CUT which has even more character development of Shingen and Mariko as well as some spectacularly bloody deaths during the snowy village ninja battle! The set pieces are extraordinary like the Nagasaki flashback, the footrace through Tokyo, the exhilarating bullet train sequence and the epic battle against a pack of ninjas! Although Silver Samurai becomes more of a mech suit and contains a different occupant than the comics, the transformation of Yashida from a compassionate young officer to a selfish, grasping magnate is a compellingly tragic turnabout. Yashida was extracting bone marrow from the openings in the severed claws. Rila Fukushima nearly steals the show as Yukio and Hiroyuki Sanada, Tao Okamoto and Will Yun Lee deliver solid performances bringing Shingen, Mariko and Harada from the comics to vivid life! The end-credit scene for "X3: The Last Stand" explained Charles' new body but not his Patrick Stewart face. Comic book knowledge of Charles' twin fills that plot-hole unless you assume Xavier is projecting Stewart's face into everyone's minds for the sake of familiarity. VERY IMPORTANT: Make sure you see the ROGUE CUT for "Days of Future Past" especially if you like Anna Paquin as Rogue. X-MEN TIMELINES: Egypt --> 1845 --> Nagasaki --> First Class --> DOFP --> Origins ------------------------------------------------> X1 --> X2 --> X3 --> Wolverine -------> New Mutants ---------------------------> Logan Egypt --> 1845 --> Nagasaki --> First Class --> DOFP ----------------> Apocalypse --> Dark Phoenix ------------------------------------------------> Deadpool --> Deadpool 2 -------> DOFP Utopia Egypt --> 1845 --> Nagasaki --> First Class --> DOFP ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------> DOFP Dystopia DO NOT watch the films in release order! Follow this RECOMMENDED ORDER instead which keeps the multiple timelines orderly and enables the young cast to have a consecutive trilogy with "Days of Future Past" set in the 1970s, "Apocalypse" set in the 1980s, "Dark Phoenix" set in the 1990s and "Deadpool" set in the 2000s. RECOMMENDED VIEWING ORDER: X-Men X2: X-Men United X3: The Last Stand X-Men Origins: Wolverine X-Men: First Class The Wolverine: Extended Cut X-Men: Days of Future Past: The Rogue Cut X-Men: Apocalypse X-Men: Dark Phoenix Deadpool New Mutants Logan Deadpool 2

In the comics, Logan kills Mariko (to prevent her from a horrible death by poisoning shortly before they were going to get married), not Jean.

Hello, check out a movie called, 1492: Conquest of Paradise. Adventure/Drama (1992). It stars Gérard Depardieu, Siqourney Weaver, Armante Assante. It portrays a version of the travels to the New World by the Italian explorer Christopher Columbus and the effect this had on indigenous peoples. Directed by Ridley Scott.
