Her story is insane... she's been through SO MUCH considering how young she is. Like the amount of stuff she's been through in 28 years of life is more than what most people will go through in their entire lives. From mental illness to addiction to eating disorders to sexual assault.... it's really heartbreaking.... but for her to still have the strength to make it out the other side and pick herself up each time she falls is truly admirable. And on top of all that, she has one of the best, most versatile voices of this generation. One of my favorite artists for sure. I would love for you guys to get into more of her!

This video is an actual reenactment of the night / morning she overdosed the guy with the duffel bag was her drug dealer who sexually assaulted her while she was high. The lady who found her was her assistant the doctors told her that if she had found her 5 minutes after that she wouldn't have made it. Her documentary dancing with the devil explains everything it's amazing you should watch it as well.

She was on "Barney", "Sonny with a chance", "Camp Rock".... you should watch her documentary that was recently released called "Dancing With The Devil" it has 4 short episodes, after you watch it you should listen to her new very personal album also called "Dancing With The Devil..The Art Of Starting Over" you will love it and understand the lyrics that tell a lot about what happened with her

One thing is having a powerful voice like Demetria, but to be able to even compose a song about your shortcomings like this is another world of its own... #talentliveson! :)

The Video is what happened the night of her overdose, down to the hair and clothes...She started with a night out drinking, called her dealer who sexually assaulted her and left her for dead...She had heart attack, went temp blind, the machine is taking out her blood and clean it putting back in her Its called a plasma exchange...So proud of her, she went to hell and back so brave to do this video. Demi always makes me cry because i live them so much! Everytime I hear this song I just brake down

She's on dialysis. She overdosed and her blood was so toxic that it had to be removed from her body, cleaned, and put back in her body. She also had 3 strokes, a heart attack, multiple organ failure, woke up legally blind, and still has vision issues. She was literally 5 to 10 minutes from death. The guy that stands over her was her drug dealer. The night of her overdose, he brought her drugs, got her high, took advantage of her, and left her for dead. This video is recreating the entire overdose. The girl is her former assistant who found her the next morning. As a lot of people said, you should check out her Dancing with the devil documentary series. It will give you a better understanding of the song, video, and her story.
