@@VeggieGamer arcane is really the only thing I have ever watched reaction content on for the most part so please don't take offense I don't watch future videos ❤️❤️❤️. I used to write over a decade ago, stories, new character ideas, book ideas, reimaginings of characters etc on the LoL forums so Arcane had a special place in my heart, it exceeded my expectations. Although the singular thing I am sad about is Vi never says "Sometimes you gotta make a door!" after breaking down a wall. Haha.

I love how almost every reactor starts with commenting on how little children singing is always creepy in movies and shows, then immediately get sad when they realize it's an *actual* terrified little girl singing to block out the horrors around her and not just the background music. I had the same reaction my first time.

Honestly, it was haunting to watch... There've been a lot of times that an eerie sound of a little child singing is used for BS purposes, but in this case it hit like a gut-punch. Those poor kids...

You're the first reactor that I've watched who noticed the sound effects in arcane, which is awesome. There's nothing in arcane that was half bad, everything is good, but few actually paid attention to the sfx, bgm, and folley. Good job to yall

Arcane is nothing less than stellar on every aspect. Design in all aspects, Cinematography, Animation, Lighting and Colour Scripting, Sound Design, Music/Score, Script/Narrative design and Voice Acting and anything I've missed. All so far beyond 'good' it's simply astounding. This is what happens when you give ample time and ample budget to quality artists in all those professions. I sometimes still can't believe it exists, it's just that unique in the animation world (which is plagued by low budgets/underpayment and inhumanly tight deadlines that basically kill any kind of flourish pre-emptively) I don't think many people truly understand how excruciatingly rare it is something of this caliber was made at all. I wish you two an absolutely wonderful time with it! I wish I could watch it for the first time again but reactions are the next best thing! I'm reliving it through you and it's so nice to see how engaged you are with it already. Enjoy this magnificent ride!

You're gonna love this show! The first 2 episodes are a bit slower, mostly introducing the characters and the world, but once it gets going, it REALLY gets going.

If these were the slower episodes I can’t wait what the next ones will bring! This hooked us from the start! Immediately wanted to keep watching which doesn’t happen with every show. Sometimes we do need some cooldown time specially with the ones that get us all emotional. With this one we were in it! We’ve watched Act 1 so far and man…this show is not playing around!

Wow! Didn't realise you guys have never watched this. It's a masterpiece. Simply one of the best animated shows ever made. Best advice for anyone watching it for the first time: pay attention to every detail because there is so much going on that isn't immediately obvious. There's a lot of characters here but stick with it, you will not be disappointed.

Yes, the show doesn’t have fluff in its storyline, everything you are shown is important to know in one way or another. But I wouldn’t be too upset with yourselves if you do happen to miss something. Like I’ve seen arcane like 20x by now (not kidding) and I’m still finding stuff I missed from before. There’s a huge amount of replay ability with this series but it’s sooooooo good! I’m still fangirling and in a mood to keep watching reactors to this series!

@@OfficialMediaKnights there's a lot of details you can't notice the first time which makes the rewatch value amazing. Like you caught on that the folks at the end are what vander meant by "worse than enforcers" but he rubs a brace on his arm when he says it, which would mean nothing in Episode 1 but later on the show why he got the brace on his arm so when you rewatch it then that means something. Everything is so tightly written and woven together it is just stunning.

I hadn't seen you guys prior to this, but it looks like you're on board and getting what's going on. All I will say is, welcome to Arcane. Sit down. Buckle up. Get ready. It's great!

OMG Its been a while since i saw this show, but just seeing Powder for the first time all young and innocent just gets a lump in my throat every time. Its up there with Atreyu from Never Ending Story man. Like just seeing that horse gets you, seeing Powder knowing whats gonna happen, right in the feels bro.

You guys nailed it and you both are astute. Usually, one of two reactors is a step or two is a step or two behind. You're editing was great as well! Shout out to Veggie gamer. He did great too!

Keep in mind Silco`s an old man(Well, middle-aged technically) so unlike most Zaunites, he remembers when there was only Zaun whereas most Zaunites nowadays are desensitized to being second-class citizens to Piltover breathing in the toxins from their sewage lanes and instead of empty words about promise, progress, equality and innovation people rose literally from the bottom through grit, determination, hard work and doing whatever it took to survive without compromise or apology.

Love your commentary and that you've decided to start this show! Bar none has been one of my favorite media experiences in a while. Your observations are keen to so many facets of this series so far and itll only serve to enhance your experience as we get further along! Like many have already said, there are many interlocking pieces to the story, but for me, the dialogue, facial expressions and music in particular really hit! I play League, but I'm almost jealous I didn't get to see this with fresh eyes as the narrative really lends itself to a new audience/those unfamiliar with the game. I'd even argue it might be better to come in blind! Regardless, it's a good time and I can't wait to see yalls reaction to the rest of the show. No rush and keep up the good work! Stop spoiling things. If you want to give someone a head's up, do so in vague ways. "The entire tone of the show shifts at the end of episode 3" Thats an example of a way to give them a head's up without specifically warning them of what's to come.

Id recommend pre-recording most if not all of your reactions to this show before posting, because the comments here are already spoiler-heavy. Having said that, after you finish the show, its a good idea to rewatch it so you can catch more of the subtle foreshadowing and callbacks that are easy to miss on your first watch. There is also a miniseries called "Bridging the Rift" about the making of this series, so you can get an idea of how fraught the production truly was, and how unsure and uneasy they were while making this masterpiece. It goes into various aspects, origins of the series, the various art and animation aspects, the backing sounds, and the amazing music. Also, you arent the only film makers who have reacted to this, and some say that it will likely be used in schools as an example of animation and filming techniques. Its truly breathtaking how they managed to bring this show together so flawlessly.

15:33 JB Blanc has done a ton of voice acting roles. Prior to this his most notable role was probably Rost in Horizon Zero Dawn.

Fun Fact: She did a school play of the "Matilda" musical right before being cast in "Arcane" and did her most heartbreaking lines in Episode 3 on the first take with zero interaction with any of the other voice actors except Jason Spisak(Silco)whom she formed a father-daughter bond with just like their characters!

After Chernobyl we’ve had a rough couple of episodes back to back in different shows haha But honestly we love it! Empathizing with these characters is so easy when they’re written this well! But yeah after act 1 it’s clear to us this show is not playing games.

These creators have done everything correct but just left out this one thing and they supplied it in the music video.

Hearing you get so excited over little Jinx and her in-game weapons, the mini-gun and the big rocket, I CANNOT wait to see your reaction to episode 4 and the finale scene in episode 9. Reactions from League players are surprisingly few and far between (or maybe I’m just unlucky with my searching?), so I also can’t wait to see your reactions when other characters get introduced! I’m not a League player myself, so I’ve always been curious as to how this show was received by pre-existing game fans. Edit: “I’ve seen those masks before, too. I just don’t know where.” This is the soonest I’ve seen anyone make the connection between these masks and the figure in the theme song! Edit edit: “Our core crew” Oh. Oh dear. “Our core crew” is not gonna last.

It surprises me that I am the only one who figured out the sisters were named after their haircolors. Hello, violet pink and powder blue much?

I truly don’t know much! In terms of the lore behind league of legends and all of Runeterra etc I know of Jinx fairly well because I’m an adc in league haha. Other than that while watching the show I actually got more familiarized with the characters. For example I never saw anyone play with Jayce but it was cool when I started spotting him here and there.

If I remember it right all the songs were written/composed for the show. I can only encourage you to pay attention to the lyrics, some of them might hit you in the feels like a truck. My personal favorites is "Sting - What Could Have Been" (Episode 9), "Ramsey - Goodbye" (Episode 3).

I would say it depends on how lucky you are. @@OfficialMediaKnights Listen how he speaks in this series. Yes, he is too shy now and don't feel himself as powerfull one, but voice is similar. He has glasses. He will get (little spoiler) one special weapon some episodes later that can be reworked in his iconic crossbow. He will learn how to hide (in shadows, just in shadows - but it's just start of his journey). And - classic Spider-man thing - in this episode we got mutated rat, mutated rat can bait this guy in future seasons:). Only rumors, of course.

Pro tip; you don’t need to know anything about LOL to enjoy this show (or endure it, depending on your perspective), but from what I know, it does lead in to some LOL lore from the game. The show stands alone though, probably one of the most intense animated dramas I’ve ever seen.

Thanks for the pro-tip! This show, honestly, has taken us by surprise with how damn good it is! In a way it's good that there are some strong correlations to the original lore, but still retaining some differences - that way the show still has its own identity whilst still respecting the core of the game!

Honestly, it would be bad as hell if they made marvel or DC comic adaptations with this animation style. It would look just like a comic book.

This is an amazing show. From my understanding it gets its unique look from the fact that the characters and their surrounding environment are 3D modeled while the textures the models have were hand painted. That's why camera angles, movements, and such look so realistic while still have an overall animated look. It is truly a piece of art!

It really is! It's so funny you say that, because we kept having the impulse of saying 'this was shot so well' - it felt so life-like with its visuals, sound design, acting etc! What a gem!

Cool response, keep up the good work! But please turn off the subtitles in Arcane, they give mini spoilers and spoil the atmosphere..

Great reaction but please, keep the music scenes in your reactions, the music is absolutely phenomenal and is integrated to fit as a kind of storytelling tool in and of itself, all songs are completely owned by Riot who created this series with Fortiche animated studios so it should be fine to use in your videos. Do not just brush by the music passages cause they are absolutely on a next level when it comes to being an integral part of a show.

Yess!! We ended up loving the music video, and like you said, it does add some really interesting context and layers, especially to both Vi and Powder/Jinx! All these things just come together so wonderfully to bring us such a nuanced and well-crafted show!!

Riot made ALL the songs and the score, and they allow people to use them fully in videos, like these f.e. The deeper you get into the episodes, the less likely you will be to skip the intro. Before Episode 7, you should watch the Imagine Dragons "Enemy" video, on KZread, it gives some elements of the backstory.

The one thing I have done outside of playing is go on the league site and read the character description. But I’d love to see more visuals from this world! It took 6 years to make the show, one day to make a second of it, and the result might be the best animated TV show ever. As a LoL player and filmmakers, you will certainly find a lot of very interesting things in the Arcane story.

Yeah it’s a freaking massive catalog of characters. Honestly they could keep bringing seasons of Arcane. As long as Netflix stops pulling the plug on good shows 😂

@The Media Knights Thankfully, Netflix has no control over the production of the show, only distribution. Riot would go to another service if Netflix didn't want to host it or wanted to get their dirty hands into the production process.

Uhm, this is not exactly a Christopher Nolan production- there are a lot of surreal/supernatural elements to this, so having a character jump into the water and dive down without worry for oxygenation or pressure is not that much of a leap, considering all the other stuff that's happened in the show.

oh here name is this Aysha Selim for anna and Shohreh Aghdashloo for the woman enforcer in arcane i think they have very similar accents probably hail from the same region and just have naturally strong deep female voice

So you have two options, firstly, watch channels and their videos such as: Necrit, T B Skyen, TENEBRIX, NickyBoi, and we have from our KZreadrs like Necrit and Hráčská Divize, Příběhy Runeterry, Baron Rico. Or read a story with comics in one place, plus there are three books for that. Garen: First Shield, League of Legends: Realms of Runeterra (Official Companion), Ruination: A League of Legends Novel. Well, both are best. I myself began to love the story of league of legends for these reasons. Erm. Yes, league of legends is about gameplay and a poisonous community, but that's because they really don't know how to play a dump game. And Lore in League of Legends is way better than Warcraft. You can also write it as Cinematic. League of Legends has 12 comics and three books. universe.leagueoflegends.com/en_US/ And they have been working on their series for 7 years,... = Arcane. From 2014 to the actual date. Warcraft movie pure real garbage. Arcane Season 1, next one coming soon. And also League of legends Skin lines are alternate and parallel uvinverse.
