Saw them (only) 3 times live and everytime it was a extraordinary experience. Be welcome to react to more songs...;o) And just as an apatizer of Tills ability to use words, here one of his poems: Nur Was verliert man mit dem Augenschlag? Den Augenblick? Viele die Zeit Einige das Bewußtsein manche das Leben -------------------------------- Just What do you lose with the blink of an eye? The moment? Many the time Some the consciousness some the life

This was from their show in MSG in New York and was my first ever experience of Rammstein LIVE. Least I could say it was one of my most memorable and first of many Rammstein concerts I’d go on to attend The song is basically Rammstein’s official anthem and the lyrics just proves it. They have another anthem that they never officially released in a studio version called “Rammvier” or “Ramm4” a song that is except the chorus, entirely written in their song titles. It drives you, wakes you up from slumber and propels you to do bigger, greater things. Love this song

Seen Rammstein multiple times live, going to see them later this year in Groningen. As a non native yet very much fluent German speaker I thought to give a translation of the lyrics to this song. Translating the nuances and often double or tripple meanings in the lyrics is very challenging since Mr. Lindemann is a poet, songwriter and artist in a language that is brimming with words sounding alike that are rhimed to converge, confuse and / or redirect meaning. Also, recurring themes are German history, social commentary on historical and current events as wel as a search for meaning. Most songs are BIG beyond their direct lyrics. Ok so that was a big time cop out to say....My German is very good, you all deserve a translation right here but hey, i might miss something. Think or sing your RAMMSTEIN's when appropriate. Wer wartet mit Besonnenheit, derwird belohnt zur rechten Zeit. Those that wait while in their right mind, will be rewarded at the right (or destined) time Nun das warten hat ein Ende, leiht euer Ohr eine Legende. Now the waiting knows an end, lend your ear to this legend Manche führen, manche folgen Herz und Seele Hand in Hand. Some lead, some follow, heart and soul hand in hand Vorwärts Vorwärts bleibt nicht stehen Sinn und Form bekommen Verstand. Forward, forward don't stand still meaning and form change into understanding Wenn die Freude traurig macht keine Sterne in der Nacht. Bit du einsam und allein wir sind hier schalte ein! When joy makes you sad, no stars shine in the night. Are you lonely and alone, we are here... tune in! (to a channel radio / tv) Manche führen, manche folgen. Böse Miene gutes Spiel. Fressen und gefressen werden Wir nehmen wenig, gebe viel. Some lead, some follow. Angry faces that play nice. (or have a good intention) Eat or be eaten. We take little we take a lot (heard as we give a lot in many live performances- nehmen / geben) Wenn ihr keine Antwort wisst. Richtig ist, was Richtig ist. Bist du traurig und allein, wir sind zurück schalte ein! If you have no answer. Right is what is right. Are you sad and alone we are back tune in! Ein Weg, Ein Ziel Ein Motiv Eine Richtung, Ein Gefühl Aus Fleisch und Blut ein Kollektiv One way, one goal, one motive, one direction....One feeling, of flesh and blood....one collective. Wer wartet mit Besonnenheit, der wird belohnt zur rechten Zeit. Nun das Warten hat ein Ende, leiht euer Ohr eine Legende. Who waits in their right mind will be rewarded at the right (or destined) time. Now the waiting has an end, lend your ear to this legend.

She is called the queen of goosebumps, a unique voice - contralto with polyphonic overtones. Full vocal range - 4 octaves (E3-E7). She has insane and unique vocals and great stage presence and her performances (from the show You are Super ! ( win twice, 14 and15 y.o. ) and ShowMASKgoOn (win 18 y.o.) are gorgeously choreographed and you should find them very interesting. Only rammstein can come to America...sing in german/foreign language....sell out madison square garden....multiple days in a row,for how many people want to see them. And after 30 years doing it,all the while start to present...at top of the game. And without the need of supporting acts,if they choose it.

Hi Aileen where I got goose bumps was the C part, in which Til gives everything in terms of emotions! One of the darkest, saddest but also most powerful tracks by Rammstein is "Wiener Blut". I would love to see you reacting to this one. Before the actual video, there is an introductory video to better understand the background of the song. Here is the video with introduction: kzread.info/dash/bejne/k2xmq6SbmLe9f8o.html

Hi Aileen, I absolutely agree with you about the bass sound. However, I believe that Oliver Riedel plays this sound with the bass guitar. At least I think I can recognize that at: 2:51 and 3:02. Greetings from Germany Simon

I'm all late... Rammlied is pronounced like ramleed. Simple rule when you see "IE" you say "E" ex. Bier, Wiener, Spiel and when you see "EI" you say "I" ex. Mein, kein, Teil

@@llpoeoepll No that is wrong...IE is like E not like I The letters ie represent the long “ee”-sound as in Marie. This is the same sound as the German long i (e.g., wir, ihnen, Idee). The combination ei is a diphthong (also spelled ey, ay, and ai). It is pronounced like the ei in Eisenhower.

@@llpoeoepll German is a much more phonetically consistent language than English. This means that German words almost always sound the way they are spelled - with consistent sounds for any given spelling. (e.g., the German ei - as in nein - spelling is always sounded out EYE, whereas German ie - as in Sie - always has the ee sound.)
