Till has a terrible stage fright :) That si why he slips into a totally different persona on stage compared to his really laid back almost shy normal self. It helps him to overcome it

Aileen, love so much your reactions to Rammstein. When my son was 17 and I heard him hearing Rammstein, I said: „How can you hear such a terrible music?“ Today, 25 years later and me 73 he says:“Dad, Not so loud!“ I love these guys.

His voice is out of this world here! The vocals are insane

The MSG was very special, for when 9-11 hit Rammstein was touring the US, but quit their tour in disgust over the nationalist hysteria sweeping over the contry. This was ten years later, when they finally came back and MSG sold out in 18 minutes. I recommend the documentary about it.

Interestingly, the vast majority of the footage recorded for Rammstein in Amerika, was recorded at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Canada on 9th December 2010, not at the MSG show which took place of 11th December 2010.

Great choice, this song is so dark when you translate it but Till's voice is beautiful . Awesome reaction. Can't what for the next one

Till's voice is fantastic!

Talking about comical elements, you may enjoy one of the newer songs like "Radio" and the official music video. Rammstein has published a bunch of making-of videos which give some ideas of how they work, what they think of their songs and how they are in general. Even if you don't want to create a reaction video on those (because it's more about the backstory than actual singing performance) I highly recommend watching them. Super interesting!

@@sophiecooper1824 It cracks me up when they - especially Flake and Paul - tell some weird things with a completely straight face. You have to know they have a wicked sense of humor and I hope it's not lost in translation.

When you said, that Till demands consistency and perfection, you probably didn't know how true that was. Till is an absolute perfectionist. He really is pissed off if the pyrotechnics are not absolutely perfectly synchronized with the beat, or if an intro, pause or cut is not on point with the timed effects.

English is not your first language? You have perfect pronunciation! Like the most perfect I’ve ever heard. Better than any native speaker. Wow.

Check also out his solo music - "Lindemann - Steh auf (Official Video)" (not the live version) with Peter Stormare (a very famous actor) or his sad ballad "Home Sweet Home" ... some videos of Till are only for adults :-D

Wild choice xD. That song even got removed from some versions of the album because it was too much.

Every Rammstein liveshow is like this. I've experienced two in Scandinavia.

When they played BDO in Australia, I was right up front getting burned by the pyro in this song.... Was the best live performance I've ever seen... Such a rollercoaster of emotions

The lyrics of this song are even for native speaker irritating. Most people miss the line "Ich seh im Spiegel dein Gesicht" (I see in the mirror your face) and it becomes clear that he sings about himself what makes the song even more strange :D If you want react to very good but lesser known Rammstein-Song do a reaction for "Spring" and if it is in your country available take the fan made video with the paper figures.

This song was banned in Germany for a time... it's about EXTREME BDSM... The chorus is "I will hurt you / I won't be sorry / It feels so good / to hear you scream " And those are some of the tamer lyrics!

You have to check out the Rammstein stadium tour I think 2019. They set new standards for even Rammstein shows! Was Ich liebe is incredible!

Rammstein is simply said: Awesome. I grew with their music and I´m glad to say that I have been to 2 of their live perfomances in the first row. (Berlin 2016 and Berlin 2019) Such an amazing band that probably will always be one of my top bands.

I've seen the same show in quebec city, with the wings the bathub and a couple other things those were really good moments and one of a hell of performance, they made their reputation with the shows ,because without the show they werent that much popular, the show made them popular because of the perfomance they were giving!

Till Lindemann suffers from stage fright, so the only way he manage to do the live perfromances is to take on this other personas that he acts through. Which is why they are very different and often theatrical.

I really like your reaction videos. It's good to see how positively artists like you react to Rammstein and to the extremely complicated German language. If I may give you one more recommendation ... "RAMMLIED" live from Madison Square Garden, NY. For Rammstein, this song had been the opening of their live shows for a few years. And it's an absolute classic. Fun fact: it is extremely rare that a band makes a song about itself or uses its own band name in a song. Rammstein did that several times, but for me "RAMMLIED" is the best song in this context.

I've been listening lately to Rammstein and me being in my 50's already culturally people expect someone like me to be listening to "old" music and although I love music from the 80's I'm kind of transfixed listening to this awesome band, I mean, the sound is simply addictive and spellbinding. Now, I watched a couple of your reaction videos and I love your reactions and afterword, great job!! I would like that, now that you have listened to a couple of the band's songs, you need to listen to "Reise Reise" from them. Simply amazing song with a strong message and has a lot of emotion. I think in general we as Americans see Till as an epic showman and we overlook his singing abilities. For example you don’t have to be a fan of Adelle to know she has incredible talent. Because they’re German I feel like people focus on what they are saying and doing rather than admiring his voice. Till has raw talent when it comes to singing.

If you want to hear a Rammstein love song try "Dont die before i do" its a duet with Sharleen Spiteris.

He's a baritone, when he goes lower, he clutches the mike, when he goes high he moves it away!

I saw Rammstein at Hammerstein Ballroom in '99. It's the only time I saw them unfortunately, but it is in my top 5 shows all time.

Please try a Rammstein cover. "Seemann" by the amazing Nina Hagen feat. the three cellists of Apocalyptica. For me it's better than the original (Sorry !) At first hearing I couldn't believe it ! Greetings from Deutschland...
