they sold out all concerts in germany within 20 min, thats like 14 stadions. they needed to add 12 more and then another 10+ concerts, all sold out within 1 hour.

Best live show on the planet. Till, their singer, is actually quite shy in real life. He is a poet, and the son of a poet. They are all sons of East Germany, which reflects in their songwriting style. Many of their lyrics have double meaning, which stems from growing up in a regime that was HIGHLY censored. Welcome to the Rammstein rabbit hole, lol.

I learned that Till's stage antics are because of his extreme shyness. He felt awkward just standing there during the guitar solos and riffs so he thought up something to occupy those times.

Till, the lead singer, is a certified pyrotechnician. Best live shows ever.

I don't speak a lick of German, yet I can sing almost every Rammstein song word for word. Almost took German in high school just to know what he's saying 😂

I am 62 and still going to their concerts whenever I can get tickets, next one in Berlin, and if I can't walk anymore I buy wheelchair tix, lol, their show is one of the best there is

As a German, it is always fun to see how famous Rammstein is, even when I presume, that most of the people don't know the meanings of their texts. It is hilarious to watch people to scream, dance and party hard when Rammstein sings about little rodents used as sex toys or cannibalism :p

Correct me if I'm wrong but aren't all the members licenced pyrotechs?

As someone stated, TILL, the singer is a certified pyrotechnician. They weren’t allowed to have live pyro at shows w/o a pro, so he studied and became certified just so they could do crazy pyro like this.

I've waited a long time for someone to mention this. A German band sings German and fills the Madison Square Garden. I'm from Germany and still find it very impressive.

Uhhhh....Rammstein fills stadiums here in America also. Their tour here next year 2021! I am going to Soldier Field Chicago which is almost sold out. There is NO better entertaining stage show in concert than Rammstein. Till is the amazing lead vocal. Dude is jacked too lol!!

@@olgahein4384 it was not Covid19, it was something else. Till used to be an Olympic Swimmer for East Germany, which is why his base fitness is so high.

they are hands down one of the best live shows that can be witnessed. They are huge all over the world...

OMG the only reason why I have never requested any Rammstein is that I was convinced that you knew them already! BEST LIVE BAND IN THE WORLD! I have been listening to Rammstein since I was 12, not fanatically, but in my opinion, this is one of the most legendary rock bands.

MSG nothing, I saw them in L.A. at the Coliseum on night 2 in September and that was sold out, probably about 50K+. What was crazy, was the audience was so diverse every ethnicity and age from 5 to 90. I had never seen such a meeting of people and languages at a concert. It was awesome.

People like to say, besides cars, Rammstein is our biggest export hit. Even the French sing along in German.

Ramstein are all about the show. I was lucky enough to see them live here in South Africa in 2011. Absolutely awesome show.

Yes!!! A german industrial metal band, that sings almost entirely in german (in german!!) selling out stadiums and arenas all over the world. What are the odds? You really got be something special, and they are! True masters of live perfomances, pyro and second to none in hard, heavy, crunchy riffs. You REAAALLY got to react to more of these guys, especially live performances like in Paris or Madison Square Garden. Already saw them once, planning on another.

Man, Rammstein fills the Olympiastadion in Munich and that can hold more than three times as many people as the MSG.

Fun fact: what he poured on Flake wasn't fireworks, it was actually melted iron. They said this in an interview.

I watched yesterday evening their "live paris" show on Arte-TV. I think after 10 minutes Flake had his first 10 miles on his treadmill. This show is sooooo fucking awesome!!!

I got the chance to see Rammstein live in July last year. I've been listening to them for as long as I can remember. My dad is a huge metal fan and he introduced me to Rammstein at a young age. I have this to say though. I don't listen to Rammstein alot however from time to time I listen to them. Especially their most known songs. Like Du hast, Sonne, Amerika, Ich Tu Dir Weh etc. etc. When I saw them live, their songs and the band grew alot for me. If you have the chance and apportunity to see them live some day, do it. They are 10 times better live and nothing can compare to them. They are so powerfull live. I really wish you guys could feel and experience what I felt live through the monitor. But their music is so powerfull and good in studio form as it is BUT it get alot better when you hear them and the songs live. Amazing video. This song is about a sadist's dream. It literally means "I will hurt you". Till explains his desires and choices how to torture a masochist, both physical and psychological. Especially that the sadist does not care about the pain he causes. That's only one of the really hard, painful lyrics that Rammstein is known for. So studying their lyrics, especially if you know German, is quite illuminating. Edit: About Till's (and the rest of the bands' characters). They are all really nice, humble guys. Especially Till suffers from stage anxiety attacks to this day; in private he is fairly shy, and very laid back. So their stage personas are exactly that: personas they act out. Edit 2: Till was an olympic nominee swimmer for the East German olympic team in the late 80's. So yeah, he is ripped, and staid ripped.

Thanks for the reaction guys. BTW the song "Ich Tu Dir Weh" means i´m hurting you, and it is about S/M but as always with Rammstein with a humorous approach and they do like to provoke. An interesting fact is that the singer, Till Lindemann and the keyboard player Flake, who always have these fun battles on stage as part of the show, were once both arrested in the US, I think it was in Chicago, for "indecent behaviour". They were performing a song called "Bück Dich", which means "Bend Over", and you can probably imagine what they were acting to provoke ..... And that was to much for some of the good citizens of Chicago, so they were arrested after the gig, and as far as I know they still have to report to the authorities in the US every time they come to the country. LOL

More than 10 years ago, they played in Frauenfeld (biggest Open-air in Switzerland). It was amazing, with fire in the sky. One of the best live performance..

I saw Rammstein live several times since 1996. They are unique. The live shows are spectacular (very hot with all the pyrotechnics and sold out within hours), the videos are masterpieces. Great reaction! My suggestions: "Du hast" live in Paris (official video), "Ich will" live from Hurricane Festival 2016... that's crowd control at it's best :-) Greetings from Germany.

@@braack4859 It`s just one of the best songs to introduce the Band to "Newcomers" and make them want to see more of Rammstein. Without showing too much of Rammsteins live potential.

Random fun fact: Most of the footage for the Rammstein In Amerika dvd was in fact filmed at the Bell Centre in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on December 9, 2010; two days before the Madison Sq Garden Show.

...'Du Hast' live in Paris, or 'Benzein' at MSG...someone gets set on fire onstage..awesome!!

Even though they sing in German you soon pick up the words and sing along. Pyro is a big part of their show and the musicianship is second to none. Great reaction. Keep them coming.

I would suggest to go ahead and react to their song 'Buck Dich' from their very first concert in the US (when they had that joined 'Family Values' tour with Korn and some other acts), but the thing ist: I don't know if you want to. Let me just tell you: After the concert, they've been arrested for the things they did on stage. Also, 2 things: Those fireworks and stuff were just warm ups. The vocalist Till is a learned and licensed pyrotechnician, with a proper german 3 year long apprenticeship. And by now, all the band members have a german pyro license (which allows them to do pretty much whatever pyrotech they want, wherever they want). They've already set instruments on fire, set some props that they were wearing on fire (like, a pair of gigantic wing construction on Tills back) and even set themselves on fire, on stage. And lastly: Someone mentioned, the problem with keyboards on stage is being immobile. One can do it like the keyboarder of Epica and put some rolls under the stand. Or one can do it like the keyboarder of Rammstein and put a whole treadmill under it.

I know it because they did it on stage in germany and all I heard and saw was just a rolling stone outlet describing the event after it. Why is america so prude on sex?

Crowd reaction shots are almost as much fun as watching the band work. The music is great, the production is great but the whole idea behind putting on a total show for fans night after night after night is beyond touring rock show biz. It's almost as if there's no tomorrow so go out on the highest note possible. Audiences get it, which is probably why they are the most rabidly loyal fan base in the world.

Yeah Rammstein my favorite band seen them live last year England. That stage was insane and of course show was amazing incredible. I even have Rammstein tattoo. Next year I will see Rammstein again can't wait!

Ya gotta love Rammstein! I stumbled across one of their videos, by chance. It was their concert in the Luzhniki Stadium, in Moscow. What a polished and professional performance, even though I didn't understand a word, for the 2 hours, that I watched. Insane doesn't describe the song, where the keyboard player is inside a giant cooking pot, and the singer uses 3 Flamethrowers (each one getting bigger than the one before), and proceeds to 'cook' the keyboard player! Haaaaa! :o) P.S. You MUST, MUST, MUST watch their Keine Lust' official video, it's so, so funny!

You have so much to discover about/with RAMMSTEIN. They are one of a kind.

"Wollt ihr das Bett in Flammen sehen?" Paris, directors cut (Rammstein official) is heavier and more "explosive". By the way, Rammstein´s music lives from the guitar riffs as much as from the lyrics. If you look up the translations you will know what the songs are all about. Because the stage actions are a reminiscence to the lyrics.

The band has been together since 1994 with the same 7 guys, Till Lindmann, the lead vocalist, is also a licensed pyrotechnic. Their live shows are the best I have ever seen. Check out the movie XXX with Vin Diesel, they are the band playing right at the beginning. Other bands play, Rammstein BURNS!

I recommend you two guys to watch and listen to Rammsteins music videos with the german lyrics translated to English, it will add you a lot wider dimension to what you listen and looking at..the lyrics are awesome.
