yea i think we've seen clips of that already that she reacted to. I like the one when Ryan bangs his head on the desk lights and Colin is just kicked back in his chair laughing at what happened. So funny.

Who Is Line?

7:59 Ricky Ricardo was Lucy's musician husband on I Love Lucy. Desi Arnaz the guy who played him, was also a musician.

"Help me understand." Ryan was trying to get Collin to say "an owl" - as he wanted Wayne to use the musical style of "The Who" for this song. Collin either didn't understand (it's not like they could discuss it beforehand after all) or deliberately went with a different band to mess with Ryan, and after saying the bird was an Arctic Tern, made up the sound of that turn as being "Backstreet Boys." "What just happened?" Ryan - who is not a big fan of the hoedown in the best of times - literally couldn't think of anything to say at that moment to start the song off. So he sat down to have a think. The bit where Ryan was jumped on is a game where they are supposedly three actors doing a scene (suggested by the audience) and Colin is the director who keeps coming in and telling them to do it in different styles - usually really silly styles.

Colin forgot the order of the songs they were doing. The next 2 songs were suppose to be by the Who, then the next song the Backstreet boys, but Colin thought the Backstreet boys song was next. So while Ryan was trying to get him to say An owl (since the Who were next) Colin went another direction lol.

I learned from Brad Sherwood that back in the day, veteran rockers Pete Townshend and Roger Daltry were once questioned when an animal hospital was broken into and all the dobermans were freed. Police said they had suspicions that The Who let the dogs out.

5:06 - Ryan's least favorite game is Hoedown because he has so much trouble coming up with verses. In this instance it was so bad he couldn't come up with ANYTHING. In the end Drew had an idea and he stood behind Ryan while Ryan pantomimed singing it. Look up the Body Odor Hoedown if you want to see the result. 6:59 - Desi Arnaz, the actor who played Ricky on I Love Lucy, was a professional musician. He arranged all the musical numbers on the show himself. The character of Ricky was heavily modeled after his own life. The song most associated with him is 'Cuban Pete,' the song Jim Carry covered in The Mask. 10:45 -Okay, this is a game called 'Hollywood Director.' Three of the improvers act out a scene (provided by Drew) and then Collin appears as the director and gives them notes (provided by the audience before the show) for them to use when they redo the scene. I don't recall any of the context for this one, but the whole joke is that chip jumped on top of middle-aged Ryan.

Colin is the only one who makes Ryan laugh so hard!

Desi Arnaz, who played Ricki Ricardo, was a Cuban band leader before he married Lucille Ball, and became an actor who played a band leader.

The first one Britt is what kind of bird makes the sound of this next band, it's an owl that goes who, The Who band is what he was looking for. Colin and Ryan are hilarious. "Pinball Wizard" "You Better You Bet" "Baba O'Riley" and "Who Are You" are some of their hits. "Helping Hands" and "Number Of Words" are other games you should check out. Happy Star wars Day, May the 4th be with you.

"40 inches! That's a melon!" "Yeah. If we had another one, we could measure your nose." That has got to be the best nose joke/burn Colin pulled off. Absolutely hysterical.

Star Wars is a must see! how have you managed to not see it?! 1:41 game is called Helping Hands, Colin is Ryans arms and they always end up messy. 5:41 "infomercial"! random props in a box, they have a theme to fit them all in.

The Whose Line best of laughter series is really good too.

So for some possible new Whose Line reactions later on, I'll list some of the games from this video. Helping Hands is the game that had the champagne moment. It was typically at the ending of episodes and commonly had Drew join in with Ryan and Colin where Ryan has to act out olthe scene but can't use his arms so Colin has to be Ryan's arms for him for everything. Infomercial is what you guessed. Ryan and Colin are 2 TV pitchmen trying to sell the newest self help product available, and have a box full of random items that are supposed to help with the remedy for said problem. It was always one of my favorite games. Sounds Effects is a game you've seen before, but before they started doing the 2 audience members making the noises for Ryan and Colin, it used to be where Colin was solo and acting out a scene with all the sounds being provided by Ryan. I love both versions of that game, so maybe you can check out the older ones of that game as well.

2:30 That game is called "number of words" each of them are limited to how many words they can say at a time. It's not really that complicated just that particular scene was. Funniest part is whoever is stuck with 1 word at a time. 4:55 They each had to sing a hoedown about body odor, Chip, Drew and Colin nailed it. Ryan went completely blank couldn't think of anything. Drew had another verse in mind and offered to sing it. So in the end Drew stood behind Ryan, sang it while Ryan moved his mouth trying to lip sync. Drew bailing out Ryan 👏 8:16 Colin's scene was that he was an Eskimo in the arctic, Ryan was doing the sound effects, but like he said after "It's the one place where there's nothing that makes a sound." 11:30 that game is Hollywood director: the guys act out a scene, every so often Colin comes in as the director and has them re-do it in a different style. As i recall Ryan was playing a clumsy waiter who spills food on Wayne who's a very diva-like supermodel, Chip was Wayne's boyfriend coming to her defense. Colin just told them to do like a rodeo. Ryan has a history of back problems, Chip I guess didn't know that when he jumped on him. Oops. I'm gonna make one reccomendation, look up party quirks Ryan as Carol channing who's head keeps getting stuck to things. I won't spoil what happened, but whose line fans remember. 😂

Ricky Ricado was a Cubian, bandleader. He sang and played the congo drums and he started his career when he was 12 years old.. His real name is Desi Arnaz and married Lucille Ball Desi and Lucy production produced the I love Lucy Show ---- Lucy and Desi played Ricky Ricado The joke is Ricky, Desi' couldnt pronounce tapioca because of his Cuban accent, very funny He was a player. They divorced but remained friends until Desi died PickEmTruckBed 1970's

Keeping in mind when this show was airing, 1998-2007, IE 26-17 years ago, unless you are a TV nerd, some references are going to be generational gapped. Know what I mean, I was born in 1966, so, this was perfect time frame for it...which blends into the Carol Burnett show. Great stuff. Do all the oldest stuff first, it informs each next generation. I suppose you go back to Abbott and Costello then some Johnny Carson & then the Friars Roasts. Comedy began in the caves when Uhgg kicked Uggh in the balls...grasp the foundations. Yep Desi Arnez was one of the most famous people to come out of Cuba in the west. Before Cuba and all the problems with them, Cuba was a popular country in the early century with food, entertainment and other things. Desi was a huge entertainer, dancer, singer, performer and was married to Lucille Ball and co stared on their TV show, and other venues. At one point probably one of the most known and powerful showbiz couple at the time. He wasn't a great husband, he drank, cheated, not quite a great guy, but vastly talented and while their marriage wasn't quite a honeymoon, Desi and Lucy still remained friends until his death decades later.

They are giving a scene to act with Collin as director comes in and says cut and tells them funny ways to do the scene.

Yeah, Chip got a little _too_ into the scene when he decided to jump onto Ryan's back! 🤣

Colin and Ryan were close friends before Whose Line. Colin's very first screening of Whose line "sucked" (in his words) as he didn't know the other performers and froze up. Ryan got the producers to give him another chance and his next screening had Ryan on. There's an interview where he talks about it. They're best mates off-screen.

You are well into you Whose line journey, keep going. You can buy some episodes on DVD or some are online if you are really keen.

Ricky Ricardo was Lucy's IRL husband. Just like on TV he was a Big Band conductor/singer that specialized in Cuban type music. I'd watch you react to some of his stuff.

My wife and I went to a taping and you're right, some of the best stuff is in the downtime. And there's a lot of downtime. They taped for about 3 hours to get their 22 minutes.

Also, again, you should look up the couple of skits that Tiffany Haddish joined them on. It was from the newer version with Aisha Tyler.

That first joke. When Ryan asked Colin if he knew the name of the band, he expected Colin to ask “who?”, but Colin being amazing at improv stole the moment brilliantly and ruined Ryan’s rhythm. To add another layer of comedy: the number one rule of improv is to avoid saying “no” and instead adopt the thinking style of “yes, and” which makes Ryan’s response of “No! No, Colin that’s wrong!” even more hilarious.

The one with the weird props was the Home Shopping Channel game. They would have to sell something using whatever props were there. This was not a great compilation, since it didn’t give enough context for each clip.

I agree you need more context for a lot of them to truly enjoy. Try to avoid compilations, do whole game clips like Improbable Mission or Narrate. You could literally pick any of them, they're all hilarious 😂 Love your videos❤

5:10 what happened was Ryan absolutely HATES the Ho-downs and he said fuck it, i'm not doing this.

@8:02 - they were playing Sound Effects where Ryan would do the sounds for Colin (better than with the audience IMO!). This one was set in the arctic and they had no idea what would be making sound there. Some more of those to check out: Sheriff Colin, Ambulance Driver, Barber, Overweight Bride, Noah, Gymnastics.

The Arctic Tern joke is funny because Ryan is obviously trying to get Colin to guess a bird that actually says the name of a band (Owl, "hoo", The Who), but Colin just picks a random bird and says its call is "Backstreet Boys". An Arctic Tern's call isn't "Backstreet Boys".

@@coreybangs I mean fully appreciate it. She said it herself, if she knew the context it would be funnier. I wish people stop recommending stuff like this where you need context to truly appreciate it She has not even yet seen the majority of the games. Just look at the singing games alone. She hasn't reacted to Irish drinking song, three headed Broadway star, a full hoedown, African chant, show stopping number, scene to rap. Might be more. I think she saw a piece of greatest hits once. Then all the other games she hasn't seen. Narrate, let's make a date, questions only, questionable impressions, infomercial which she saw a piece of here, whose line, number of words which she saw a piece of, worlds worst, foreign film dub, can't remember more. But that's the majority of games she has not seen. Let's suggest these so she really gets to see the range of games and she will love them.

I thought Ryan was good at hoedowns despite his hating them.Irish drinking songs were supposedly easier due to only having to come up with 1 line at a time.WRONG! You need to check out Irish drinking songs, especially MEOW! Drew messes up his line and the rythm of the song and Ryan mocks him and Colin, well, you have to watch it.Colin owned Irish drinking songs.

I really am not a fan of these microscopic clips. Heck, they don't even get the entire single joke in the clip, much less what is happening.

The editing in this compilation is so bad, that if you haven't already seen all of this in context, it has to be bewildering and it could ruin the reaction to when you actually see it in its full context..

This video is for people who are avid whose line fans. This is a bad video for someone to watch who doesn't know what's going on.
