Pay attention to the peace sign in the letter "O" for Love. This entire Sign 'O' The Times album & concert was a love letter to peace and a anti war album. Prince always played with his fans sumblinally & he always had a underlining, deeper message of unity. The peace sign in the words "LoveSex" is intentional, meaning to respect sex. Sex is created by God Prince would say, peace is respecting each other. The entire Sign 'O' The Times album was very deep and ahead of it's time. These deep messages sadly get lost with the casual Prince fan. Although every real Prince fan knows that Prince has way more songs about spirituality & politics than he does about sex, although once again. Prince looked at sex in a spiritual way, that's why he has literally thousands of songs & not one disrespecting women or glorifying drugs. Not ONE. The proof is in the lyrics to his love songs, songs like "Adore" "God Created Woman" "When We're Dancing" are just a few examples of his view on sexuality & spirituality.

I was at that concert. It was my first concert ever in Rotterdam, the Netherlands. It was filmed there in 1987. I was 15 Glad you are discovering him. That whole concert Sign o' the times was great

It was actually filmed at paisley park in chanhassen, MN, but it’s synced up to audio from the rotterdam and antwerp shows. Still really cool you were there tho!! Im definitely too young and jealous :)
