Nickleback is one of the few bands that I like that reside within the last 25 years. Hate is unjustified. Their first couple of albums are killer good.

The name came from Chad’s brother Mike (bassist) who in their early days worked at Starbucks. There was a popular coffee drink back then that was under $5, which had Mike saying “here’s your nickel back” about a 1000 times a day…

Another thing with the video, you get to see how many people you recognize. Plus the icon voice that is missing here.

With the official video they have several celebrities making cameos and part of the fun is to see how many you can name.

Everybody always wants to pretend that they hate Nickelback but you go to any bar and they come on the jukebox, I guarantee everyone is gonna know every word to their songs

As a Canuck I am very proud to say Nickelback is Canadian. Great rock band. Justin Bieber deserves the "hate" he gets, Nickelback does not!

Nickelback -the band people love to hate, even though they secretly love them. The original version of this is much harder, but the lyrics are still hilarious and biting at the same time. Nobody has good things to say about the music industry! Aaron Lewis (rock guy turned country guy) shows the flip side of this story in "Country Boy" - and it features cameos by George Jones and Charlie Daniels.

Nickleback take so much unjust flack.... Their Silver Side U album takes me back to a time when I was doing my entry qualification to get into university, so they always take me back to a really enjoyable time. They produced some really good songs from the album such as 'never again' which deals with domestic abuse. Nickleback are a little bit country and a little bit rock n' roll.

i love this version too. the original music video with all the stars and common people mixed up on all the different places on the planet is in my opinion the best ever.

As a musician myself, I enjoy acoustic versions because it allows for people to hear the raw music and vocals(pain and emotions etc) through the music. 99.9% of pro artists, write everything on acoustic tracks and then translate it to electric to make it work.
