In 2011 he won Philippines got talent for singing a duet of the prayer a female's voice in English and a male's voice in Italian I still say he would be the life of a party

He didn't even struggle hitting those highnotes.. He just sing there so relax and calm switching two diffrent male and female voice

AND..... He is perfect pitch !!!! Truly a God given talent !!

Well you will not only get angry why he didn’t win in AGT. He landed 3rd. He was supposed to sing “We are the world” (27 voices), but Simon pressured him to sing “Beauty and the beast” and called his performance “predictable”😆

As you said, you would get mad if he did not win the competition, you can get mad now ... he did not win despite the fact that his acts were the most watched on you tube leaving behind the others' performances behind by the millions. Many complained, but, well, you how AGT's reputation about choosing the winners was ... as many you tubers claimed.

There was controversy with Simon Cowl, seems he didn’t want a Phillpino to win! There are u-tubers who explain this. Actually it’s probably good he didn’t win, that way he wasn’t controlled by Simon and AGT! He is my favorite singer, I just love this guy!

If Marcelito placed 2nd overall then you could arguably make that claim but to finish 3 places behind the champion? Yeah, KZreadrs are always the source of truth, just like Facebook. 😂

Marcelito was the champion of PH Got Talent back in 2011. He can understand English well but may struggle at speaking it fluently thus the need for a translator on stage. On your own time, maybe you can watch Marcelito's remote control challenge in one of our local TV comedy show. You'll see how fast he can shift his voice with just a press of a button.

She was not a translator, she is his wife. Marcelito understand and speaks english perfectly because that is the oficial language of the contry alongside with the filipino

@@carloseduardocorreahernand7549 Yeah, that's his wife but was also with him on stage to be a translator as the need arises. FYI: I am a Filipino living in the PH and I have known Marcelito since I saw his first audition on local TV back in 2011.

Its a sad that AGT didn't treat him right, he should have won, like the scary girl from overseas, she won Asia Got Talent but again at BGT and AGT wasn't treat fairly, because she was scary, really, its what she does, Scared Riana, its in the name, check out her Asia Performances, then you tell us...❤✌

You may not know that this was not his song choice, of course he could sing it with ease. It was Simon who chose this song for him to sing, then criticized him afterward. He also only won fourth place which was not right. His best song is Power of Love.

Simon and his cohorts also manipulated the final results at Marcelito Pomoy's expense. The Network also edited the scenes of Simon Cowell in the Judges Panel during the Semi Finals & Finals. Closely observe what Simon Cowell & Heidi Klum were wearing in both scenes. Also, prior to Marcelito Pomoy's Finals performance, Marcelito submitted a list of 10 songs that he could sing for the Finals. Britt, I hate to be the one to tell you, but Simon Cowell treated Marcelito very badly and manipulated the voting so that Marcelito finished 4th behind an Asian Gymnastics Group. Simon does that a lot, but when he did that to Marcelito, I have never watched AGT again. Anyway, you wanted to know. Find "The Prayer" on the WISH Bus. In that performance he sings flawless English and Italian. He actually struggles with other languages, EXCEPT when he memorizes the sounds. A totally unique talent. 😮 Cheers.

Of course Marcelito didn't win, neither did Angelina Jordan (they were the only singers in the final among 10 participants). The winner was a gymnastic act from India, runner up was a trapeze duo. AGT The Champions is not a good place for singers. The first season was won by a card magician, runner up was a ventriloquist. I'm glad that this format ended after the second season.

Simon and the judges rigged this competition from the beginning. Simon and all the judges should have been terminated by the network. Your statement about Simon giving needed suggestions is not really true in this case. Simon is the one who selected the songs for Marcelito and then would chastise the selection as if Marcelito had selected the song himself.

Reduce transparency. We, the audience couldn't see the video you're reacting to.
