Johnny Depp has a good sense of humour and can laugh at himself. Glad he cleared his name.

Ricky and Steve wrote that dialogue, including the horrible jokes about Ricky. Johnny Depp is a great sport and loves UK comedy, he spoke about his time filming this on the Graham Norton show, he and Ricky were sitting next to each other on the show and clearly very good friends. Johnny Depp also took part in another UK comedy a few years back, called the 'Fast Show' he loved the show so much he would record it on VHS, and take it around to his friend's houses to show them. He had his agent contact the show and ask if he could do a cameo on there, they of course accepted 😂

The tall man is Stephen Merchant. He co-wrote both The Office (which subsequently gave rise to the US version) and 'Extras' with Ricky. Extras had a different big name guest star in each episode. Johnny Depp did one episode, however this clip is from another of their comedy creations 'Life's Too Short'. It stars Warwick Davis - the little fellow sitting next to Johnny.

This whole bit came about because someone told Ricky that Johnny was offended and hurt by his jokes about him. And Ricky was so concerned that he'd actually hurt someone's feelings that he contacted Johnny. And Johnny responded by saying he wasn't offended at all,, and loved Ricky's jokes, and loved his sense of humor. So they made this silly hilarious video together.

Best part is that Ricky Gervais probably wrote all the mean Ricky-Gervais-jokes.

This was "Life's Too Short" starring Warwick Davis. Pretty funny show. Had a lot of great self-aware celebrity appearances. Ricky and Stephen Merchant (tall, lanky, glasses guy) wrote it and appeared in it quite a bit. I'd suggest checking out the Ricky Gervais Show, which was his podcast but animated. Good stuff.

The name of the show is Life's too Short. The main character is the little guy, Warwick Davis. Probably one of the funniest shows ever. Wish they made more than one season. In that episode Johnny Depp is following him around studying him because he will be playing a little person in an upcoming movie. Please watch clip with Liam Neeson

This entire show was hilarious.

The guy in the middle of the thumbnail is Warwick Davis, who played Reepicheep in the BBC miniseries Chronicles of Narnia that I grew up with. No CGI, just great storytelling and acting that unlike the Disney versions, actually stuck to the books. You can’t beat a BBC production and Warwick Davis is terrific. He never gets the credit he deserves because of his height.

That was a skit made by Depp and Gervais as an answer to all the media going haywire about Depp being devastated over being picked at in the golden globes, because Depp thought the roasting there was hilarious, even the roasting of himself 😂 It is from "lifes too short", there is another really funny skit with depp where he wants a dwarf for what Warwick Davis character thinks is a movie production, so he sets himself as the "star", but when he gets there, well u will have to see it for urself U can just search for "Johnny Depp torturing Warwick" 😂

Tim Allen is best known for the stupid 90s TV show "Home Improvement". But he was brought out with Tom Hanks at "The Golden Globes" because Hanks was Woodie and Allen was Buzz Lightyear in the "Toy Story" movies. And it's funny to think that Johnny Depp would be so passionately opposed to Tom Allen being made fun of.

Obviously you haven't watched original "The Office". Gervais is superb actor and creating scenes with very uncomfortable athmosphere and same time you can only laugh. American version is ok, but it just isn't in same level. British version makes you feel awkward even though you know that it's fiction😂
