As far as I know Angelina chooses all her songs herself. The event is called "Allsang pa Grensen" and until this year it was held on the border between Sweden and Norway. All viewers receive the lyrics and can or should sing along. She also sang "Something's got a hold on me" that year. I like it even better.

This is at the TV show "Allsang på grensen" (Sing-along at the border) in Halden, Norway, near the border to Sweden where Angelina sang two song the summer of 2022, "I have nothing" and "Bohemian Rhapsody", 16 years old. In the background you can see Fredriksten Fortress. In the woods, just behind the stage, on 30 november 1718 the Swedish king Karl XII was killed during the siege of the fortress (probably by a bullet shot from the fortress but there are also some theories that he was murdered by one of his own). This was the beginning of the decline of Sweden as a super power in the Baltic region.

This is an Elvis classic and again 11 year old Angelina slayed it. From what I have seen in the comments from Norwegians is that the flower crowns are worn by most girls and women in Norway to celebrate summer, esp. since it is cold most of the year. Tradition. The first time I heard her sing this song I thought man ,she could be Elivis’s granddaughter. Great reaction.

This Elvis classic borrows the chord progression as well as the melody from the Italian song "O Sole Mio," which was first recorded by Giuseppe Anselmi in 1907. Elvis never wrote a song. He got some credits to a couple but he never wrote a full song. He was the best Entertainer ever in his time. One thing not known well is that Elvis loved Black Church music etc. He took a lot of flack back then as his singers were most all black. The Venue would call up and say you can come in but your Black back up's cannot. Elvis always said. If they can't come in then I won't either. He meant it to.

That deep range is amazing at that age. It's an Elvis song done in his key, I believe. It's a little surprising so many people today have little or no knowledge of his music. But she has resurrected many of these classics to be enjoyed by another generation. Another song of her many which one forgets for awhile. Only to be reminded again of her live performance brilliance. Perfection really with her fearless delivery with every note on pitch and beat on time. How is it possible for a little kid to have such refined skill? Ironically, Angelina gets it wrong by singing the second verse first, which she has to have realised by the time she sang it again. But like a pro, nothing in her demeanour changes even though she's aware that the whole audience has evidence of her error in their hands.

I was watching a reaction the other day and the reactors gape at the singer .. "That's the actress from 'Meet the Fockers' .. I had NO IDEA she could sing!" .. I was .. very .. surprised, sad .. thinking that .. yes . .fame is fleeting.

The building in the background is Fredriksten fortress in the city of Halden, Norway, near the Swedish border (hence the festival is called “Allsang pa GRENSEN”). This annual festival was held on Midsummer (hence the flower crowns) and has been broadcast on Norway’s national TV. The arena seats 10,000 spectators, so it was quite a shock (for us viewers, not for Angelina) to see her performing for the first time at the age of 8 in the midst of this ocean of people.
