Look at the year, you’ll know. He’s no “version”. Harry was raised in poverty, abandoned by his father in Brooklyn. His writing/ singing caught the attention of the Beatles who reached out to this unknown. Fast forward, he became John Lennon’s bestie, who admired Harry’s incredible singing range and writing skills. Fun fact, Ringo Starr was the best man at Harry’s wedding. He had been wild but he became a great father to seven children, and adored his wife, Una. Sadly, he died too young, but left a huge catalogue of music. I’m glad he had this album produced for his own voice. He won many Grammys as a result. Thx for sharing.

Harry Nilsson is a singer songwriter who had his biggest success in the late 60's-70's. He has a lot of great songs such as "Everybody's Talkin'", "Me & My Arrow", "The Puppy Song", "The Moonbeam Song", "I Guess The Lord Must Be In New York City", "Jump Into The Fire", "Spaceman", "Coconut". Harry wrote the song "One" which was a big hit for Three Dog Night in 1969.
