She did win Idol! Her voice is definitely one of the best in the business. If you want major goosebumps and for your mouth to hang open, listen to her sing “How Great Thou Art”(live as well), with Vince Gill on guitar. I think it’s a - celebrating women in country music awards show and it’s ridiculously good.

This was performed at the Grand Old Opry, of which she was one of the youngest inductees only a few years after her win on American Idol. Simon Cowell knew she was going to win as she was blowing away the competition each week in the amount of votes. "Jesus Take the Wheel" was one of her early hits.

Another vote for Carrie singing “How Great Thou Art” with Vince Gill on stage live at the CMA Awards!

Carrie is awesome. My favorite of hers is Champion Ft. Ludacris.

She's been a country music star for 18 years. She won American idol back in 2005. I'm so glad you found the live version. She sounds great live!

Yes, definitely go watch the official video and see her do it all. 🤣 She has so many great songs - "Jesus, Take the Wheel", "Blown Away", "Remind Me" (duet with Brad Paisley), “Something in the Water”, her cover of “I Told You So” featuring Randy Travis, and as so many others are recommending, absolutely find her with Vince Gill singing "How Great Thou Art" live.
