You're right. I've always wondered why don't people see that? she reads the lyrics in many of the early covers and interprets them directly.i think that's the real sensation.people hear her voice and are enthusiastic.but they don't seem to have a feeling for the whole thing.

even if it was described in the video, almost no one goes into this sensational fact in the comments. maybe it's because we humans are becoming more and more superficial and only see the immediately obvious.

You are quite right, she often has to read the lyrics because she is singing the song for the first and maybe only time in her life. She hired the guitarist on a visit to LA and they throw ideas at each other until they arrive at something they either know or can learn quickly. If there's a mistake, by his own admission it is often the guitarist's fault but if Angelina makes one, she is not too much of a perfectionist to upload it anyway.

Unbelievable vocal range..And the tone of her voice is amazing..

@@103mrg I think it's more. In the cover for Elvis Presley's How Great Thou Art she goes incredibly low in a quite solid way. According to some people her range is from D2 to D5.. You might wanna check out that Elvis song.. It's impressive. I'm not any expert myself so I can't be sure though.

@@hannuhedman5882 IF her range was D2 to D5, that's still 3 octaves. But that isn't her range. Her lowest note is around C3 and she gets up to at least G#5, possibly higher. As I wrote earlier, just shy of 3 octaves. Not to say 3 octaves is shabby. It was good enough for Whitney; Adele does just fine with it.

I had to even play those different pitches in KZread(!) and think again and maybe that C3 or something like that is more realistic and in the higher end she goes quite high.. She was just 13 years old when that Elvis cover was recorded and it's quite impressive performance for such a young girl in the lower end I think..Maybe that 3 octaves is enough if there are so many well respected singers with that. Angelina can do so much different ""runs" and "effects" with her voice anyway so I think she will be manage! And with falsetto it is possible to extend that normal vocal range.

THE ONLY SINGLE WORD FOR ANGELINA IS PURE "GENIUS" !!! SHE IS A PRODIGY TO THE MAX !!!

Of all the wonderful music she has made, her cover of Lana Del Ray's "Born to Die' is my absolute favorite.

Add to that that she could be a model and it really isn't fair to us mere mortals. I believe that you are 3 songs in to Angelina's vast catalog of songs, so you have so much more to discover. Upon hearing her voice for like the second time, I was permanently hooked, and the words that came to mind are divine, unmatched, and peerless. Some people are so amazing as to be nearly beyond description, and I think we don't have a single word that could encompass the full meaning of her extreme talent. Effectively, she is the Goddess of Music incarnate, and we are darn lucky to be alive at the same time she is to witness this amazing historic event.

One word would be "unifying". We live in a polarized world...and yet reading comments on Angelina are always amazingly positive. She opens hearts.

I've been on the Angelina train for a few years now. This is one of my favorites of her covers. One thing that makes AJ special, is she makes you believe her. She sings about experiences that she's obviously never had, but from the emotional outlay of her vocals, you would swear she has. Yet, there she is... 12 years old. Making grown people cry. I don't know how, but she understands the lyrical content, the story of the song, at a level that she has no business grasping. She's a treasure.

Angelina is truly one of a kind. I was actually lucky enough to watch it live when she debuted on NGT, on the tv, not in person. Been a fan ever since.

You can also see her sing STAY a cover by Rihanna I think. It's a masterpiece and her runs is astonishing. With the same guy, Ivan Mendes on guitar. He was speacless. You can see it in his face. I highly recommend it. Love from Norway 🇳🇴

They interviewed her Guitar player and he said this. Most every song they did was not even practiced and was done in one take. He said also that he would not even know the song and Angelina said that is ok just follow me. One word to describe her..Hard to do as I believe that word has not been invented here yet. She makes us Taste the music.

I particularly liked your insight on her reading the lyrics. From what I've read, Ivan comes by for dinner with her family, after which he and AJ select a song. They then take about 15 minutes to determine what they'll do. Ivan has said they usually finish in one or two takes. Such talent.

She has been performing at a high level all over the world since age 8 when she won Norway's Got Talent singing Billie Holiday, Nancy Sinatra, and Gershwin. It is the rare singer that can, as Angelina has done, go from Queen to "Screamin" Jay Hawkins to Adele to Elvis to Whitney Houston to Michael Jackson to Etta James to James Brown to Amy Winehouse to the Beatles (and many others in between) and do them all justice! If you want to hear music, listen to anyone. If you want to feel music, listen to Angelina. She will stagger you with her ability to find and bring forth the 'essence', the emotional message of nearly any song. You have far to go with Angelina. Great, informed reaction. Just subbed. AJ's vibrato is so distinct -- fully agree -- but also her vocal fry is just so controlled and on pitch. I mean, who pitches vocal fry? And then add the breathiness as contrast to the fry . . . it's over the top control. AJ is about class and control. And then the weird thing is, all the emotion gets added as well. She holds the emotion back, then releases it in fry and breathiness. It's just astonishing how she commands her voice. Mind-boggling and incomprehensible come to mind when listening to Angelina Jordan she is that great! She started listening to all the jazz greats when she was 3 years old. Listen to her sing I Put a Spell on You when she was just 9 years old, a year after she had won Norway's Got Talent singing American jazz standards. It's the most viewed video of her around 150 covers and a few originals. Many millions have seen the black and white version filmed in the recording studio with a live band. Hundreds have reacted to it.

One word? Ok, It goes like this. I believe they're extremely rare, and they change the course of history and touch the hearts of man. One word "Worldchanger" and this one is just in time! I have my opinions too! What's not opinion is, her followers are like an army of kindness & honesty and they love this little girl!

There IS NO SUCH WORD! I and many have tried! AS best that I can tell, there either are NO WORDS or simply are NOT ENOUGH words. I try both, maybe daily, and still can not answer this.
