That treehouse you stayed in for your birthday was awesome. Great drone shots. Carol does a great job with your instagram. A thousand steps including that spiral staircase in the humidity and you guys didn’t even look like u broke a sweat. Betcha a lot of the other tourists only got up part way. Maybe try to find the tea shop in the interior where Harald Baldr gave the young owner a thousand $’s to pay off his construction loan - made the news there. Nice shop, nice guy, great views. Something to restore your faith in Sri Lanka after what happened in Kandy. And you guys have each other = the most important thing.

Cool video! We are thinking of heading to Sri Lanka and you popped up on the search. We followed your video back in June when we looked for the monkey trail beach in Ao Nang. I dragged my poor other half up tgat track when he had a stinking cold in full June Thailand humidity. He was not my biggest fan for an hour or so!!

The story goes as After Prince Kashyapa killing his Father he fled and build his kingdom on top of Sigiriya fearing his Brother Mugalana who was the rightful heir to the throne who is seeking revenge after their father's death. Kasyapa had King Dathuisena murdered by entombing him in a wall of the bund of Kalawewa alive. Mugalana Used the nearby rock Pidurunagala to spy on Sigiriya and arranging the invation. Kashyapa took his own life after seeing his army getting destroyed by the invading Mugalana's Army.

Forgot to mention in the video, was 50 dollars. Normal places we stayed in Throughout Sri lanka was usually around 20 dollars

Hi l began watching you guys when you came to my island...Puerto Rico. 🇵🇷 Apparently you are unaware of some details of where you just visited and it's obvious now that one can't trust the narrative that the tourists are fed. I watched Praveen Mohan's video on that site which you should seriously go watch. He told of how those gardens as you entered were designed to be completely flooded for defense by hydraulically pumping in water from a nearby river that would fill in from underground through those smaller square openings on each side of the walkway. And as for the "Lion's Claws", dude since when do lions have only 3 toes in the front? You were looking at some type of bird claws or the feet of "Lilith". Do you not ever question anything in life? I wanted to scream! This site is way older than we are being told and even if it is within the time frame that they said how do you think that all of those stairs were formed and rocks cut without electricity? Hammers and chisels???? Really? Do you believe the bullshit they are telling us about the pyramids too...built with hammers and chisels as well? Come on! Dude wake up! And those black marks on the huge rock are from high heat, weaponized heat! That's how it was destroyed. You are so blessed to be able to visit places like this so you should start looking at things with different eyes and question...question everything! I haven't seen your India videos yet but if l watch and see you not questioning how they were intricately carved l'm going to scream again. Seriously, go watch Praveen Mohan's video on KZread then find whichever lndian temple that you visited because l'm sure that he made one about the mysteries about that one as well. I'm not being rude here l just want to see you get the maximum out of your travels. Maybe an Indiana jones hat is in order before your next adventure. Oh and watch Duran Duran's video 'Save A Prayer' video because it was filmed there plus it's romatic so watch with your girl. Oh and those pointed stupas that you will be seeing, they harvested free energy from the planet just like the pyramids all over the world did. Go forth and look with your new eyes. I’ve travelled to Sri Lanka a couple of times. Compared to other South Asian countries, it’s extremely westernized (in good aspects), especially the coastal regions. Probably due to smaller size, colonial influence and more easy-going culture. For me, there’s no comparison in quality of life with India, especially northern part

FR0G the FRENCH Mostly the big tourist spots. The first time was during the civil war, so I basically did the west, south and mountains. I also went back after the war and did the cultural triangle and a safari. The North hadn’t really opened up to tourists at that time Very friendly and welcoming people
