In today's video, we go on our first-ever safari here in Sri Lanka's Yala National Park! We were so excited to see what exotic animals Sri Lanka had, from the infamous Leopard to the majestic Elephant. This was a pure bucket list day spent with other backpackers looking at amazing animals in the wild. Sri Lanka's Yala National Park did not disappoint!

There were a lot more moments of peace but we did show that as not a lot was happening ☺️
I simply don't understand why Yala gets unnecessary hate online for being crowded. Well.... Yala has the highest density of leopards in the entire world and Forbes mentioned it as the best safari park outside Africa! So what else do you expect? I have visited 7 different national parks in Sri Lanka, and IMO Yala is the best! All 4 times I've been there I have seen the Leopard and the elusive bear twice. Glad you enjoyed the experience :)

Wow so lucky to have seen the leopard and bear!! We did enjoy it a lot and there were some jeeps but it is to be expected when something is good
Another fact about Yala. Yala has the highest leopard density in the whole world.

Egg hoppers make with rice flour and coconut milk, it’s dry because u should eat when it’s hot

We went to Yala 2023 and saw only the leopard on the trees sleeping. its veryhard to find them. but the trip was amazing and i love the bumpy roads, like you guys a group of elefants came to say hi. It was so close I could literally touch them. Sri Lanka is a place to visit. If you have time. Go and visit a tea factory. and go to Nestle production. its amazing up there.

This driver is crazy there is a speed limit inside the national park, it’s there for the safety of wildlife but this guy doesn’t seem care at all.
