Reilly and Mackenzie (the Hound + Fox) have been friends and colleagues in the extended Home Free family for many years, and have a huge following of their own. I love them as a duet, and equally love them collaborating with other artists. Immediately after finishing the "Wayfaring Stranger", they simply turned around and sang a beautiful version of "The Sound of Silence." You should give that one a listen too. I've decided you're a poet at heart -- I enjoy it when you talk about what the lyrics, as well as the melodies, mean to you!

Or did they sing The Sound of Silence then turn around to sing Wayfaring Stranger? No telling which came first. That's why I play one and then the other and then the first one again and then the second one, and then the cycle a free more times. I don't tire of their beautiful harmonies.

You've done it now! The Hound & The Fox is another delightful rabbit hole to explore 😊 My fave song by this trio is Whistlin' Lad, written by The Hound & The Fox.

You may have read that Austin Brown high tenor with Home Free is leaving later this year, he has been with the group for 12 years and will be sorely missed. Been mentioned that there will be a replacement…😢…..love Adam Chance, when you have time listen to “ Song For Home” he wrote and sang.

This is so reminiscent of Peter, Paul and Mary from the late 60s. Their voices work so well together. They have done quite a few collaborations, including a very unexpected cover of My Mother Told Me.

The most gorgeous rendition I've ever heard of this song. Chance, The Hound & The Fox sound so good together. They also have an outstanding cover of "Sound of Silence" and "A Whistling Lad". Tim Foust sings with them on "All the Pretty Ponies" - a lullaby your daughter might like. Thanks for playing this - stay strong & keep being you.

Love this. Hound + Fox are husband and wife team that have collaborated with Chance and Tim of Home Free a lot. Love their rendition of Hurt and with Tim on We Three Kings. They’re a folk group. Mackenzie (wife) does a great rendition of Running Up that Hill by Kate Bush. Good one Saeed. 🤩😄

I really enjoy "The Hound & The Fox's music. They've done a lot of collaborations with different members of Home Free & other artists. Their voices really suit the older folk style of songs & Chance blends well with them. This is a very old song that has been covered by many famous artists such as Burl Ives, Emmylou Harris & Johnny Cash.

Adam Chance has such a mellow voice and the husband and wife duo of the hound and the fox are fantastic as well. They are featured as a cameo in home freeze Grandma got run over by a reindeer Video. I just heard the sad news.

Adam Chance and the Hound + the Fox did this in conjunction with "The Sound of Silence". The end of one song fits into the beginning of the other of both songs, a continu loop. Very good how they did that. Adam Chance's voice which is perfect for this song. The voices of the Hound + The Fox that go so well with it. There's something mysterious about it. A song on my playlist.

" Sound of Silence" is my favorite they have done together. My favorite they did with Tim Foust ( Home Free bass) is " Hush-A-Bye/All the Pretty Little Horses. Thanks for the reaction

Thank you for reacting to this one. It is a bittersweet day in the Home Free community with the news about Austin Brown leaving in the fall to pursue creative interests. It will be fun to watch what he does and exciting for the group to make another change. Adam Chance was the last cast change in HF and he has been a good addition.

I haven't read all the comments to see if this was mentioned, but The Hound + The Fox have an original song called "The Good Stuff" they recorded during the pandemic with Tim Foust and his wife Jenika Marion. The video is an adorable comic book style storyline by fan artist Aji Chees.

Love Chance's smooth , sexy voice ... would love to see him take more leads with Home Free ! Just learned Austin will be leaving the group ... his stunning voice and enthusiastic personality will be missed but I'm sure Home Free will find just the right replacement ! Change is always hard ... but without change there would have been no Chance !

I have only learned that now as well. But you are right sometimes change is needed, and sometimes it's really hard, but it can be great as well.

I think you mentioned you have kids. You might be interested that The Hound + The Fox recently released an album of lullabies. Tim Foust collaborates on one of the songs.
