This is Kenny's song, but these two are good friends. The original video & Kenny singing it, is cool in its simplicity. Definitely check it out. Lionel wrote 'Lady' for Kenny & it's one of his biggest hits & you must find it & check it out. They both ended up recording it, however, my favorite performance of it is a live performance in Las Vegas of the two of them singing it together, shortly before Kenny died.. For Lionel songs, he has many great hits. I love Lady', 'Stuck on you' & 'Hello' for pretty songs & 'Dancin on the ceiling' or 'All night long' for a spunky one.

I’ve never heard this version before. I feel like something is a little lost in this one. I prefer the original but love both these artists.

Same, I've never heard this version before and what I noticed it seemed that the timing was off like, one or both of them were unsure when the other was going to come in. It felt like more of it was on the Lionel side probably because since its not his song but it even seemed to throw Kenny off.

Ok so you need more Lionel. Lol. The reason you know him as Nicole’s dad is just wrong 😂😂. So he started with commodores a wonderful group. He wrote a lot of their songs. Then he went solo. He also wrote lady for Kenny Rodgers. He also wrote we are the world with Michael Jackson. His songs are oh so wonderful like soothing warm soup. Some are sexy and a few are very catchy pop tunes. My favorite is a song called hello. It’s what he is most known for so it’s a good place to start. Then just pick any song off that same album. They all are great. Don’t start with dancing on the ceiling is one of the pop tunes. It’s catchy and good but it’s not his best work. His ballads are what he was known for. Also his work with the commodores just Google most popular and I guess start from there. To many good ones. But again. You can’t just know this guy as Nicole’s dad 😂😂😂

I love KEnny!! I am dissapointed that you didn't react to the original which really shows off his masterful story telling. And the richness of his voice. Not to mention Lionel Richie botched the end of the song. :( At that point I couldn't take it anymore and didn't finish this video. Lionel Richie is an amazing artist in his own right and you should definitely react to his music too. He has tons of great hits.
