There are plenty of legit Garth songs on KZread. You just need to react to "live" versions, not studio. I would suggest; "Ain't going down till the sun comes up" live in Dallas. As a "country" performer, he'll blow your mind. 🤠

Of my top ten favorite songs Garth has at least a few. Unanswered Prayers, The River, The Dance, The Change …they may never be surpassed…It’s your song live is to be saved for Mother’s day special.

oh man so many songs for you to listen to with Garth. "The River" is a fantastic inspiration type lyrics. I actually printing out the lyrics and read them to my softball team heading into the offseason. Wanted them to realize their time was coming to an end. not sure how much time they had left playing so lets make the best of it while we had it.. but some of his greats The Thunder Rolls If tomorrow never comes Friends in low Places Shameless. 27 year old from Tennessee. My dad passed away when I was 4, and I don’t have any memories in this life of him. However, this song was played at his funeral and I for some odd reason enjoy listening to it because it’s something that I know that was around him. My mom who is an absolute angel on Earth played it because although the loss of him was so, so hard it was worth it because of all the great times they shared together. She would have had to miss the pain, but she would have had to miss the dance.

I prefer the video. My dad asked me to play this at his funeral while he was fighting cancer. When he passed I forgot to play this for him. I still tear up when I hear it

@@barsandbarbells2022 Thank you. I have the letter he recieved after saving a young boys life when the boy drowned at the local river. My dad worked on this child until paramedics arrived even though there was no response. The boy survived with no brain damage because my dad never stopped CPR

His 'Friends in Low Places' has probably been played in more bars than any other song. A great drinking song.

Garth Brooks is really good. A couple other songs to try is If Tomorrow Never Comes, and Thunder Rolls.

First!! I saw him in concert 93/94, I believe. Amazing talent. Amazing show.

One of Garth's greatest songs is called 'Thunder Rolls', but it is not his version that is best. Yes, he wrote it, but never released it. Tanya Tucker recorded it about 5 years before Garth arrived on the scene.

Not just a relationship song but a life song. In life as well as relationships, if we knew how everything would turn out, how many of us may make different choices and in doing so miss out on some good experiences along the way. So just enjoy the Dance and when life steps on your toes just smile, and know that it happens sometimes when your leading. ;)

Wonderful reactions. One thing that made Garth so successful is his ability to chang the feel of his songs. Some songs being a slower pace like this one and other's being more of a faster pace. His songs take on various styles ; some feel more like rock others country to give you a variety as not to get that stale aspect.

You should react to his songs, Unanswered Prayers, and a more fun song, Friends In Low Places.

Same. I lost my wonderful wife of 1/3 century just over 4 years ago. She was only 57! Bittersweet. It was our favorite song when it first came out in 1989. I never dreamed it would be so prophetic.

Obviously everyone is saying it in your comments but this is not Garth Brooks. This is a cover. He will need to do a live performance because all of his music videos and music is copyrighted but if it’s alive, he does not control those rights so you can watch it there

At 19, I married my high school sweetheart, We did a dance of life from young couple to small family to four kids. After 22 years, she broke my heart. The pain has subsided a little but not much. We divorced in 2000. Yes, if I could have seen her change and the end of our marriage, I might have never asked her to marry me. Four kids and 7 grandkids would never have been. The Dance is not Garth's song. Tony Arata wrote the lyrics and music. Arata does a much better acoustic version of the song, with more emotion. And Arata's guitar work is far superior to Garth's as well.

Personally I love Kelly Clarkson's version of this song that she sings in front of him. I got chills. I do like Garth Brooks alot

In 2022 Kelly Clarkson sang this to honor Garth at the Kennedy Center Honors. It brought him to tears. Definitely worth the watch.

The Dance is not Garth's song. Tony Arata wrote the lyrics and music. Arata recorded the song and performed it in Nashville before Garth even heard the song. Tony does not quite have the vocal talent of Garth, but makes up for it with pure emotion. Arata's guitar picking is superior to Garth's as well.

Along with others, I would say that this is not Garth. It's not a bad cover but I'm a huge fan and I know his music note for note. This ain't him, bro and broess. It's a good song (not his best IMHO but it appeals to the country folk who put a premium on sentimentality) but he has many better ones.
