One of my favorite Bowie songs...Mike Garson is a piano god. Two others on this album are real sleepers....."Time" and "Aladdin Sane" (the best piano solo in rock history). I love that you deep into the best tracks.....great analysis too. You are truly in the top tier of reactors.

Hi Brandon. Another jackpot track. Not only Bowie at his best, but Mike Garson at his best as well. He was such a great fix for Bowies music right up to the end. Just love the Bowie sax in there right at the end. One of my most favourite tracks of all time. All the best. Dave✅✅

Great song…..it was a first for me. Definitely could have been a little longer! Another song you’d like is “This Is Not America” from the movie The Falcon and the Snowman. It’s the Pat Methany Group featuring David Bowie on vocals.

This almost has a early 1950s pop feel to it(before rock fully hit the pop charts), mixed with a bit of glam. Cool, but, cool is what Bowie does RIP David

Interesting take... I know Bowie was an expert at taking from many genres and making his own unique art from them. One of the greatest!

I'm so happy you're reacting to Bowie. May I ask if you'd do a watch/reaction to "My Death" Live, GQ awards 1997". Garson has a great solo in this, and Bowie's voice and presence is awesome.

@@retroreactions.... I don't blame u for being cautious, but many reactors avoid the block by blurring the video when they upload to utube. Bowie's performances are always special.

One of his very best songs. Everyone has - quite rightly - praised Mike Garson's piano and Mick Ronson's guitars; it's also one of Bowie's most glorious vocals. Can we also hear it for Trevor Bolder's *gorgeous* bass lines, a lot of them right up the fretboard. He's a very underrated bassist - check out his work on Cracked Actor too, on the same album.

It is such a sensual tune, and the Spanish influenced intro bounces right back at the mid-song break with the Spanish guitar. Always love your reactions, particularly to Bowie music. I have a few songs I'd like to hear your take on...... Thom in Toronto,Canada ♥️🇨🇦

This is real music. Although relatively short, it feels like an experience. I couldn't agree more about David's masterful use of vocals throughout his repertoire to convey the characters and emotions of each individual song. And what can you say about Mike Garson? His style is so distinctive and it gets me every time. Yes, the little burst of Spanish guitar was unexpected but wonderful. I always regarded this song as something truly special. It is great to hear it again this morning.

In case you don't know, Claudia Linnear was one of the most beautiful women to ever grace the earth. Jagger supposedly wrote Brown Sugar for her. George Harrison loved her as well.

CHEEEEEEEEEEEESE!! Mr Garson's piano is all over the whole LP; this is a very good think and elevates Aladin Sane. I'll call this one tacky; It's definitely unique and is sexy Bowie. The song is beautifully arranged. I'm exactly the right demographic for Dave - I heard this, first when I was 13 via my older sister, who bought the LP the day it was released. 51 years on I still like it a lot; I still cringe slightly when he rhymes breast with caress. It's lovely; it might get on my 1 hour playlist - there's a lot of fierce competition. As far I'm concerned he's Britain's Elvis, albeit with better tunes, productivity, more artistry and (dare I say it?) a better voice. Some of those attributes might pique your interest
