The very best decadent music, tones and atmospheres that the 80s could ever grace me with....This song is my Pleasuredome!! Thanks for watching! 🥰

I miss Holly's voice these days. Trevor Horn made Magic with their music. This track is a 💎 for transitions and groove. Timeless masterpiece, enjoyed your reaction Brandon...the memories! 🔥

This simply maintained the UKs place as leaders in the best music writers and producers ever. It doesn’t get much better than this. Relax!

The 12" of 'Rage Hard' is possibly one of the best i've ever heard in my life 😊

First time I went to the gay disco and this was just ending with that "WELCOME!" Scared the CRAP out of me!

So epic, this is 10/10 for ambition if nothing else, but it hits it's mark too. That No 2 placement in the UK chart shouldn't be underestimated, it followed 3 huge No 1s, Relax almost got there twice, Two Tribes was there for months and Power of Love was a Christmas hit, only kept off the top at Christmas itself by Band Aid and Wham at their peak (Holly made it onto Band Aid's B-side) The feat of a debut hat-trick of Number Ones hadn't been achieved since Gerry and the Pacemakers 20 years earlier and wouldn't be beaten until the Spice Girls a decade later, so the No 2 came very close to glory. The Welcome to the Pleasuredome album is production heaven from beginning to end, a couple of the cover songs on it depend heavily on ol' Trevor. Overall it's a huge landmark in British pop culture, the sound was ubiquitous at the time. Very happy memories, thanks again.

Probably one of the best produced / engineered albums ever. Listen on a Dolby Atmos 7.1 system for the ultimate experience.

So a sudden mental connection: Trevor is using Steve Howe here, yet around the same time was polishing and shining his former band, Yes, now without Howe and reborn in 1983. You gotta admire his tactics to get the very best music he could. Genius 😎

The music on the whole album was played by Art Of Noise, another project of Trevor Horn, the producer of that album. That’s the same Trevor, who once replaced Jon Anderson as a frontman of Yes in the early 80s, then produced their two next albums and was part of The Buggles duet.

Super seductive sound in 1985 and still so today. Those Steve Howe chords are so nice. Pop prog funk at its best! Worthy of your triple platinum award!

That IS an epic piece! The (double) album was HUGE even here in Switzerland. For me as a teenager who just discovered pop and rock music hardly a year before it was an eye opener and the first time that I heard a side-long track (together with Mike Oldfield's Crisis). For me this album is still the quintessential 80s LP: disco, punky, proggy, synthpop, new wave etc all in one.

If I recall correctly this song was very popular in its day, bolstered by a provocative MTV music video. Dance and club music is not my usual thing, but this song is irresistible. Thanks for the listen.

There’s a spot right around the 8 minute mark where the bass makes me think it’s going into Thriller. Bass in general is just CRAZY good!

Wow….what an amazing song!! I’d never heard it before, I’m not too familiar with a lot of their music. That bass was probably the highlight of the song for me! I invested in a decent pair of headphones a few weeks ago, and damn, this song sounded amazing! Great start to the week!
