Cliff Richard, now in his 80's, has been a huge star in the UK for decades (since the 50's). Although known here in the U.S. he never made it as big here. But in the UK he is the 3rd highest selling artist in history, his record sales coming in only behind The Beatles & Elvis Presley.🩵✨️

Apparently he was big in the Philippines according to my husband 😊
Sir Cliff Richard has been a British Icon since 1958 when he had his 1st hit ‘Move It’!
Cliff Richard has a beautiful duet with Olivia Newton-John and it is called, suddenly. Their voices compliment one another’s quite well. I think you’ll enjoy.
The Bachelor Boy.. great artist.Legend.
I had the biggest crush on Cliff Richard when I was a kid. I love his duet with Olivia Newton-John.
🎉 Cliff had a big hit in 1980 called We Dont Talk Anymore.

@@revbenf6870 All his songs are so great , he's a long time professional artist and has true class . . Live long and prosper Sir !
Cliff is known for the first British home-grown Rock n Roll hit - a fabulous track called “ Move It”
Always have and always will LOVE this song/groove! 👍✌️🙂
His duet "Suddenly" with Olivia Newton-John is a beautiful love song from the 80s. Their voices go so well together. You'll love it.
It's Richard like Richard Nixon. Cliff has been one of the UKs greatest and longest stars, he was our answer to Elvis. When he began he was with the band The Shadows, they wrote the songs, The Shadows are fabulous instrumentalists. Cliff has had countless hits.
he sold more than 250 million albums. i love cliff richard. big fan try these songs in the future if you can please: living doll. summer holiday. the minute you're gone. carrie. the only way out. pretty woman. traveling light. saviours day. visions. move it. suddenly (with olivia newton john). all i ask of you (with sarah brightman). theme for a dream. true love ways. when the girl in your arm is the girl in your heart. congratulations. stronger than that. lean on you. mistletoe and wine. sing a song of freedom. some people. dreaming. a little in love. she's so beautiful. remember me. little town. the best of me. wired for sound.
I remember when this came out. It was everywhere. While he never had real huge success in the states, he is the third highest selling artist in the UK... only beaten out by The Beatles and Elvis Presley so he's definitely talented. I would recommend "We Don't Talk Anymore" and "Carrie" if you want to hear more if him

I'm 57yrs old and I definitely remember this one growing up I was fortunate enough that dad was a rock and roller from way back ✌️🤙💪❤❤❤
In the UK, Cliff is a national treasure.
My favourite song of Cliff Richard would have to be Miss You Nights . Fabulous !
I've always like Cliff Richard🤗 His duet with Olivia Newton John - Suddenly - is a favourite of mine!!!❤❤
Oh Lord! Takes me back to my childhood days ❤I believe circa 1976??
It’s Richard …like the first name. Great choice, tonight! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
I had never heard of Cliff Richard, but my wife (who is Korean) had a CD of "songs that were big hits in Korea" and they were all K-pop except for one western ballad. It stopped me in my tracks, it was so good. I went years not knowing who sang it but finally sussed it out. "Visions" by Cliff Richard. Tremendous song. And I have a K-pop hits CD to thank for it.
Cliff Richard was one of the biggest pop stars in Britain maybe the biggest, he never made it big in America however he had a massive following in Britain and in many other countries over 50 years or so. The Devil woman in the song is a fortune teller with bad intentions but it also could be a warning to young men that Women aren't always as they first seem .
In the book “I Am Ozzy” he says he always wanted Cliff’s voice
I have no issues playing this jam, with the Top down, at full tilt
Cliff Richard is the original British King of pop way before MJ was born.

Actually, Cliff's career began in 1958, the year MJ was born. Cliff has often been called the 'Peter Pan of Pop.' I always thought that nickname was better suited to MJ.
Big number 1 for Richard, with a few more to come..great voice. But I gotta give his guitarist the high five on this song...he played some EERIE sounding stuff, what we call " Playing for Effect" 6:32 B.J, on your summation..I sure met many a femme fatale driving night cab and playing shows with my band,...Knew one that got some lovesick sap to kill her husband. Another got a stockbroker and blackmailed him. If they tried to hit on me, I'd give them a mean glare and tell 'em "Pizz off, sweetheart..I know damaged goods when I see 'em." and they'd leave me alone.

The guitarist is Terry Britten. He also wrote the song. It was a big come-back hit for Cliff (Top 10 around the world), but the only place it reached #1 was South Africa.
I love this song. Here in New York City, we had WABC 77AM, the #1 radio station in America! This got plenty of air play.
Thank you. I totally forgot about this song. That's what is good about your reactions you bring back memories both with music and movies. Love your channel.🔥🎶🎵🎧🎤👍
Great song from the past. It had an awesome vibe.
Not a "Pop" music fan, but here's a comment and a thumbs up for the KZread algorithm!
I think the cat became the Devil Woman fortune teller with her green eyes...like a cat.
I haven't heard this song in decades.
Devil Woman by Marty Robbins is a 60s song but a whole different song from this.
Take my word. There are women out there that want your soul!
Recorded at the Famous Muscle Shoals Recording Studio with the Swampers and other Studio musicians
He has his own channel on KZread, huge catalog! Started at 17 1/2 in 1958 with Move It. He was the 1st rocker in the UK. He is famous all over the UK, Northern Europe, Asia, Japan, New Zealand, Australia, South Africa, etc. he appeared on Ed Sullivan, Pat Boon, Any Williams, Solid Gold, Midnight Spacial, etc. never made it real big over here, had several killer tours, but EMI America didn’t seem to interested in really promoting him here, they wanted him to stay here for 6 months out of the year and he wasn’t going to give up the rest of the world for that. He made movies in the 60’s, starred in London west end musicals. His original back up band was the Shadows…great group in their own right! He has massive hits world wide, except here. Some that did make the charts are: Dreaming, It’s so Funny ( 8:26 How we don’t talk anymore), Daddy’s Home, Do You Wanna Dance, silhouettes and Visions.he did a duet with Olivia Newton John called Suddenly.(She started out as a backup singer for him. He had her appear on his TV show in the 70’s where she was on most of the 13 weeks. They remained great friends until her death.) she used to date Bruce Welch who was the rhythm guitarist in the Shadows. He also did gospel ( he called them Rockspell) concerts all over the UK, Europe, South Africa, etc. And put out quite a few of that genre albums too…funds that were raised by both the concerts and albums went to charity. TEAR fund ( like compassion international,),various children’s charities, poor, starving, elderly, etc. His concert videos are great, many are on line too, as well as whole albums. He will be 84 this October and is still recording and doing limited concerts. One of my favorite artists. BTW, Devil Woman was a song written by Terry Britton, Sir Cliff liked it as it as it had a great beat and told a story. It is a warning about dabbling with the occult. His original name was Harry Webb and was born in Lucknow, British India during the Ray before India gained its independence from Brittan. From Wikipedia: “He has total sales of over 21.5 million singles in the United Kingdom and, as of 2012, was the third-top-selling artist in UK Singles Chart history, behind the Beatles and Elvis Presley.[4]”
As a Cliff Richard fan for over forty years who was born and lived all my life in the USA I would like to share my perspective on Cliff Richard’s impact on the British music industry. I should clarify that I once had a copy of a book that listed the top ten songs on the British music charts from 1954 to 1977. The charts were made up based on the sales of 45 records. Before 1954 the charts were made up from the sales of sheet music. What I am going to say is my interpretation of what I remember reading from this book and what I have heard about Cliff Richard. In the 1950s British record companies would dictate to the artists who had a contract with them what song they were to release. The song in question was always a cover of a song that had been released in the USA by an American artist. I forgot what year it was but for one week in either 1954, 1955, or perhaps even 1956 the same song written by the same composers was in the top ten charts by different artists on different record labels about six or seven times. When Cliff Richard started his career in 1958 his record company treated him in the same manner and told him to do a cover version of the song Schoolboy Crush. Cliff recorded the song as he was instructed to do by the record company but he also got permission from the record company to do an original song for the flip side of the 45 record. A friend of his named Ian Samwell wrote a song called Move It on a bus. After the 45 was made the record company sent a copy of the 45 to every radio station in the UK. People working at these radio stations listened to the song Schoolboy Crush but did not play it on the radio. This could have been the end of Cliff Richard’s music career due to a promise he had made to his father. One man named Jack Goode had listened to Schoolboy Crush and had the same reaction as everyone else who had heard the song. Only Jack Goode did something that no one else thought to do. He turned the 45 record over and listened to the song on the flip side Move It. Jack Goode immediately started to play Move It on his show and highly praised it. Word quickly spread across the UK and people at other radio stations followed Jack Goode’s example and turned the 45 over. Move It is credited as being the first British rock n roll song which in my opinion led the British record companies to allow their artists to have the opportunity to write their own songs if that was their choice rather than dictating to them what song by an American artist they would have to cover.
She has a Sister named "Lucretia Macevil" Blood sweat and tears
I love Sir Cliff Richard. His duet with ONJ (Suddenly) is beautiful.
2:16 Actually, BJ, rhe song's about an encounter that he'd had with a fortune teller, whose motivations are rather ominous
Thank you, Asia and BJ! I heard this song back in the day, but I didn't know the artist. I like the song, the voice, and the beat!
BJ, when a fortune teller is referring to "the lines on your hand," they're not referring to the lines left behind by a ring on your finger, they're referring to the lines in the PALM of your hand. Fortune tellers will read those lines to predict your future.
Me and a Buddy met a woman named "Devil Woman" over the CB radio back around 1977. She invited us over and we thought for cocktails. Turned out we were invted to a Religous gathering. Didn't stick around long.....
Asia and BJ, now you're talking. Keep reacting to these classics please!!!
U should try cliff Richard - and the young ones funny
The lines on the hand refers to palm reading.
It's now Sir Cliff Richard ( Harry Webb) born in India, hasn't stopped working and released records in every decade since the 1950's sold a ridiculous amount of records into the hundreds of millions, and only person who had a number one in each decade
I love Cliff Richard! 💖
such a catchy song! ♥
Some other Cliff Richard suggestions - "Carrie", "Daddy's Home", his duet with Olivia Newton John called "Suddenly".
You've reacted to Devil Woman by Cliff Richard; loved your reaction. Now why not check out Devil Woman sung by Marty Robbins--a completely different song in the country music genre, but so nice.
I haven't heard this song in many years. Great choice.
WOW! I forgot all about this song! And I used to hear it all the time!😂😂😂
This is a great song. I’ve always loved it.
She was asking him for the ring on his finger, so she could do a read. She then asks him to show her the lines on his hands, also for a read.
I still have this on vinyl 45! 😂

Fantastic song and it takes me back to my childhood
This song was featured on the soundtrack of the 2017 movie "I Tonya" starring Margot Robbie. Given the subject matter it makes sense in the movie...
That'll be Sir thank you
The lyrics easy to understand who tells you your future & past Crystal ball on table perfect job description for a cat with green eyes

You 2 are the best! ❤❤❤
Always loved this sexy song❤
Great pick A n B! Loved it! Yawl funny A F!...☘️🇺🇲
Heavy metal band Riot did a very good cover of this song
Cliff Richard suggestion - "Wired For Sound". If possible i'd check out the music video from 1981 where's he's on roller skates with a lot of people all wearing walkmans.
@Asia and BJ , Cliff Richard is the British version of ELVIS , Both arrived on the scene in the 50s , both had lots of hits , both were making their own movies . But Cliff has had more hits & albums than Elvis . His song Daddy's Home is one of his best .
Presently, there are no laws against head-games.
I haven't heard that song in 50 years!

There is a song by Cliff, Richard and Olivia Newton-John from the movie Xanadu may I suggest watching the video from xanadu The song is called suddenly
It is a warning about dabbling in the occult, per Cliff!
Check out We Don't Talk Anymore by Cliff Richard.
Awesome cool song yay, Cliff was good yeah 👍😎🤘
iirc, richard was a born-again christian. this may have colored his approach to the occult in this song...
The lines on your hand and a personal item are things a fortune teller might ask of you with a crystal ball on the table. She is a devil woman because she uses the dark arts and "steals" the will from her victims. Maybe?
This on my Halloween playlist.
Banger ❤
Great song!
You guys are funny. You should come up with a comedy routine and go on The Jimmy Kimmel Show 😂

The neighborhood boys would sing this song at me when we were kids because I have green eyes lol
Cool 👌
Cliff Richard is a Christian, and this song is about the evils and dangers of fortune tellers, from a biblical perspective. Also, this song used to be played all the time during the Halloween season for obvious reasons.
Hi dear, good video, do you know : Fonky Family "Mystère et suspense, with Toto sample 😊
great halloween tune
🔥 Because it costs to much💥💪😜ftw
0:31 Hey,Asia, you'd actually pronounced Cliff's name correctly the first time around, it's Richard, not the French pronunciation of "Ree-Shard"
Ringo Starr has a good version of this song.
This is the ringtone I have for when my ex wife calls, real talk!!
you've gotta do "living doll" with the young ones...
React to always bon jovi wembley 1995 this is so amazing solo
BJ, you're digging a hole for yourself, put the shovel down before you dig your hole dip enough that Asia will bury you in it, put the shovel down and no one gets hurt, LOL
🔥
Yall funniaf
Please listen too Aaron Lewis song called Am I the only one its a powerful song and a great video message
I agree with BJ..
I'm not totally sure, but I think this song is saying that the cat and the woman are the same and evil.
