Actually recorded Mr Kiss Kiss Bang Bang which features in Thunderball from memory Sir Tom sang the title song as they changed it from Dame Shirley song too Sir Tom for the film

I was once shopping in Harrods, London, sometime back in the mid eighties and the person in front me held the door open for the person following. As the lady looked behind to see if I was safely through and saw that it was Shirley Bassey. Not only a superstar but such a modest person too.

While I was looking for the 2013 vid, there is a video of her singing Diamonds Are Forever at the 2022 BAFTAs award show (British Oscars) and she still sounds amazing!

I remember in the 60’s reading about her, obviously chauffeur driven back from a performance came to a road accident. A lady involved lying on the road injured. Shirley put her fur coat over her to keep her comfortable until ambulance and police arrived to take care of her.

I suggest you skip forward around 50 years and watch Dame Shirley ( title given by our late Queen Elizabeth) Royal Albert Hall in front of around 7,500 BAFTA Awards I think 2022 just after Dame Shirley 84th birthday, yes she can certainly still hit the notes and is also great friends and Welsh counterpart of Sir Tom Jones who'll turn 84 in June and he's still touring the world and bought out a number one album when he was 80. They have the skills of singing live across the world and combined sold around 300 million records if not more now you can buy online and streaming, they're two of the nicest people you could ever wish too meet and have no ego and great sense of humour as with the majority from this generation
