The thing about pac and why most of us go so hard riding for him is because he’s literally saved our lives, especially mine. Not many other rappers I can think of have that type of effect on a person listening.

I feel the same way, he’s helped me through so much in my life, especially the death of my parents, and I didn’t have my father either. Dear Mama hits me hard, and he said what I wanted to say. I was 13 when he passed away, and I will never forget anything about when I found out he passed. Broke my heart, and the feeling doesn’t change. Rest in peace to my mentor Tupac Amaru Shakur 🙏🏼❤

I can attest it. In Brazil Tupac is know in the entire country. Look in the map the size of the country to see what that mean. And we don't even talk english. We just feel it. On travels to Portugal, I could see a lot of young people with Pac shirts... I saw, nobody told me.

Crazy thing about Unconditional Love, is it’s not even supposed to be a Pac song. There’s a reason why it was never on one of his albums while he was alive. And why the levels don’t feel mixed properly. It’s just a reference track he made for MC Hammer. Same as Jay Z made a reference track for Dre and Snoop, to make Still Dre. He just laid the words down for Hammer to copy. Hammer actually does the song on his own album.

You wanna hear Tupac Spitten Prophecies then listen to "Starin Thru My Rearview" off Gang Related Soundtrack or Thugs Mansion off Better Days. Also I've heard Outlawz specifically Napoleon say Tupac didn't believe in God or whatever. But I don't believe that. It says in the Bible God Judges Men by their heart. In I bet if u add every rapper that said GOD in their lyrics Tupac said it the most. We can't judge him. And we can't read a man's heart.

With tupacs writing he would write from many different perspectives. Sometimes it was about himself, Sometimes his stories were about other people's situations, what he calls the viewers, perspective. So not everything he raps is literally about something he went through. I believe he wrote stories about different situations that occur in lower class society specifically that time frame of late 80s early 90s. For example, as far as we know, tupac had no kids but a close friend of his may have and he saw the trials and tribulations that his friend went through in that particular situation therefore he was able to embody that situation. He was very empathetic, which is what makes his music so relatable to the average person. So not every lyric is literall to him have to keep that in mind very poetic. Love your reactions, though keep doing more

@mrbloyd I have been following you for a while now and I definitely appreciate your open mindedness towards Tupac being that you sided with Biggie growing up. With that being said, when you listen to Tupac, he is speaking from a different almost 3rd person perspective when he raps. 90% of his lyrics are about things he saw, read about or experienced himself. That’s why he is one of the greatest artists of all time. He made “Soul Music” because he made music that everyone could relate to regardless of class or color. Everyone knows “Dear Mama”.

Tupac did not have a kid. There are some tracks where he hypothesized what it might be like to have one or put himself in someone else’s position, but in this track he is speaking about a friend who has cleaned up his act and settled down with one woman to raise a family. Every stanza in this track represents an era in his life from childhood to his young adult and impoverished youth to his fiancée. The struggles, joys and changes chronicled throughout the lyrics are bound by the recurring theme of unconditional love and perseverance.
