2pac transcended rap. He was an icon. So passionate, genuine. In this song he says he wanted to be more than just a rap musician. And he accomplished that. What a legacy.

This is why I rate 2Pac over any other rapper, he had songs that could make you cry, songs that would make you angry, songs to match every emotion! & at only 25 he did all of THIS, I mean just imagine if he had lived on another 25 years. He was more than just a rappper. R.I.P

I'm probably not a typical Tupac fan, a Caucasian nurse, but When raising my 4 kids we listened to his music often. He was creative, funny, cocky and a deep thinker. Read his poetry, too. I appreciate the diversity he brought to our lives. I lost my son Ben in December, and hope they got to meet in heaven. Much love to all. XOXOXO

Here’s my story of how Tupac impacted my life. Born 88 , white guy, my father was a big rap fan, we grew up in the struggle I used to steal my dads Tupac cassettes and listen to them, he even had all of his albums and movies. So ultimately I was born into Tupac’s music. The music and poetry he made was phenomenal, pac died when I was 8 but I was an intelligent child and pac influenced me to be a good person, to not judge people, to treat women with respect. Over time as I grew up I collected my own Tupac music etc. even down to his books. I even wrote a project in middle about Tupac and the number 7. But besides that, till this day 30yrs old now his music still keeps me strong through tough times.. there’s not another rap artist that has that influence in this world.. Tupac is legend. I just wish he used his own words to further his lifespan, but no one is flawless and I think that’s one of the points he makes.. we all gotta keep our heads up and thrive to do better... respect to all loyal pac fans!

Not a big fan of 2Pac, but this is why he will always be the greatest rapper of all-time, not cause he passed away, its cause his music makes you think about life, it's like a message in rap style (like this song), if anyone haven't notice yet, even tho a lot of his songs has explicits. He was like the Martin Luther King Jr. of Hip-Hop. His music has much bigger impact on everyone individually than most rappers

Do not let bitterness and anger consume your righteousness. Do not let the pain give up your sanity. Let the light reign over you. Defeat the dark thoughts. You are not alone in the journey of life. Songs like this can never get old. The truth of the matter is that his songs and lyrics can be so relatable ad understandable that the messages that he wants to share with the world will never fade away. He was truly a once in a lifetime talent

the power of this mans words in his lyrics lay in the fact that he meant every word, he truly cared for the oppressed people in the ghettos of the world. thus his legacy will forever be remembered as one of the greatest most intelligent soulful rappers.

Got Dammit I swear this song was written for me, just listening to this sparks something so deep inside of me brings tears to my 👀, to think Pac never got a chance to realize and reach his true potential but if he had it would have been monumental, so whomever is listening to this I hope u reach ur full potential and never b afraid to stand alone for what u believe in and Always stay true to urself and the one's in ur life that matters the most. Rest easy Tupac Amaru Shaker. #ItAintEasy #LifeGoesOn

Remember that tommorow comes after the dark. U always be in my heart.I 39 ive been listening to this song since the 90s. The first time i herd this song i cried like no other. When i listen to him i really do believe he was sent to touch us that were in despair ,poor, abused or in pain by god. Im a man hardcore kinda not bragging but his voice when i listen makes me feel all the feelings that we repress. He reached so many people alot of his songs are inspiring, anger, love, awareness he tought those of us that had no where to turn at a young youth. I love u tupac and i hope i ll see up there.

I'm 18 born 10/20/97 and every since I could remember I've been obsessed with this man. I can't even put it into words the kids of chill I get down my spinal cord every time I hear his voice. I wish I could have a 1 on 1 conversation with him and ask him thousands of questions and how to carry on with the pain I hold. I'd ask him how do I release anger without doing angry shit? And how must I go on In this corrupt ass world I've been born into.. This man is my only idol. Feels like when I listen to em he's speaking directly to my soul. I'm conscious.

"Ask mama I got this urge to die Witness the tears falling free from my eyes Before she could reply" This alone just rips thru my heart, imagining having a son or daughter and having them fall victim to their own environment. Just hard to hear I guess but his words lighten up my soul and encourages me to change for the better and for my future family and friends. Peace n blessings

Greatest 2Pac song of all time. People will say he wrote this for Hammer but I disagree. You can tell the lyrics are so true to everything he was trying to accomplish and going through. Only thing I hate about this song is the crap mixing and mastering because they couldn't find the master reel after Pac died. Smh
