Hi Sarah. Now you see why she has millions of fans. First grade, 6 years old and knows pitch, timing, inflection on this difficult song. She is a child prodigy and a musical genius. Not singing "Mary had a little lamb". You have so much to be amazed by at 6,7 8,9,10,11,12,13,14 and15. It's a treat to witness the evolution of this once in a lifetime artist. 2 years after this she won Norway's Got Talent, not surprisingly. You should check out her performance of "What A Difference A Day Makes" Proysenfestivalen 2014 at 8 years old not long after winning NGT. Angelina often performed at an annual jazz festival TV 2 singalong summer hit "Allsang på grensen" "Sing Along at the Border" and it is held In Halden, Norway at the site of an ancient fortress very close to the Swedish border. Many international and local artists are invited to perform The attendees are given the lyrics sheets and are encouraged to sing along. Angelina performed at this Festival many times from about 8 thru 12. Every performance from any year you will find will be one of her best performance of that song! I promise you! And for a taste here is one of my absolute favorites of all of her performance at this festival or any other and a must see! She is singing at home for her fellow Norwegians and as you will see she sings from 'that wonderful place' she enters when she sings. She has several performances at these at different ages. Look for her performances when she is on stage barefoot with her simple white dress and always a big flower crown in the middle of 100's of her fellow Norwegians. @@OleOlson121 Don’t think this is a jazz festival, it is a family entertainment programme shown on Swedish and Norwegian TV over several weeks during the summer months, and they get all sorts of different singers. I think Angelina has been the highlight 3 summers. Maybe you are thinking of the Kongsberg Jazz Festival? ❤👣🎶

Sarah, it never stops. She will continue to amaze you for as long as you listen to her sing. No one in the world like her. btw she was 6 doing this. The gentleman speaking is one of her school teachers and he told her she was wonderful but she did screw up a couple of words in the middle of the song. She told him she was aware of it and asked him if they could do it over one more time. Like I said, no one like her.

Great reaction. I can tell you've been hooked. Even at 6yo she was showing amazing vocal control. I hope you are next covering her Norway's Got Talent journey. I really enjoy viewing these old videos through the eyes of someone else. I especially love it when they follow this young talent as she grows.

Angelina is 6 here and she sings in English! That's her third language. You know she's from Norway. There, everyone speaks Norwegian. 6 yo Angelina read and sing English texts and understand what everything means! She is amazing in many ways.

So nice to see you react to this. Thank you Sarah. This was 6 yo Angelina, getting to experience her first few studio sessions (at the Oslo school of music and culture), and getting familiar with how it works, about the routines and learning to evaluate her performance, also as she listen back on her recordings. There are several videos from these first sessions, as she sings "Hurt" kzread.info/dash/bejne/n6GBpKSsfJOYpbQ.html and you may find links to her singing "Sky Fall", "Rolling In The Deep" and Adele`s "Someone Like You" from this studio at this age. The one you just reacted to are probably the best performance, but they are all quite stunning as I see them. These are all educational lessons or sessions to give her knowlegde and comfort for the career she actually started up as she signed up for the "Norwegian Talents" show as she was still 7 years old. In 2017 as she was 11 she got good use for these training sessions, as she recorded her first full album, called "It`s Magic". It`s an all classic jazzy album (of cource still available). And Angelina is truly magic in her talent and her ways to use her talent.

Yes, I believe she is 6 here. This is even before Norway's Got Talent. There is another from about the same age where she covers Rolling in the Deep. It is adorable and well done as well. You might like it.

Amazing!

Angelina is 6 years old here. This was her first attempt, and it is quite amazing. Definitely a child prodigy. This is the studio at her Waldorf School and her voice teacher is the engineer. Her grandmother is the one making the video.

As you can see at the end, when she's speaking to the recording engineer in Norwegian, this 6-year-old girl just sang a beautiful rendition of a Tom Jones classic in English (and this was the first take). There has never been a talent like this, and there may never be again. Enjoy the journey!

This might be her first real studio recording, but her improvement every year was staggering. At some point, you will be forced by the sheer number of requests to hear Angelina at 9 singing her own arrangement of the blues classic, I Put a Spell on You. In today’s recording you heard an amazing child’s voice. In I Put a Spell on You, if you close your eyes, you would never know it’s a child. She has a great, live blues band behind her, and has the voice, attitude, and interpretation of a adult woman. And not just an adult, but a highly experienced, talented, and classic blues singer. I have seen many young singers, maybe not this young, who have impressed me with their voice, and generally, they do it by belting out a pop song or even with an operatic voice. But none of them do it with as much control, subtle nuance, and emotional impact as Angelina at any given age be it 6, 8 9, 10, 13, or now at 15 with the release of her Adele cover "Easy on Me." She has never stopped getting better. All it's going to take is one good original song sang with the same passion as her latest cover, it will propel her to the top of the charts and widespread acclaim.

The only performance I can think of by a six-year-old is Connie Talbot's audition in the first edition of Britain's Got Talent. She sang "Somewhere over the rainbow". She was cute and, as with Angelina, she was missing teeth. I have followed Connie's career ever since, and she has turned out to be a prolific songwriter, too. @@alberttenfoot Yeah, Connie was a real darling. She sang a simple song amazingly well. Angelina sang a very complicated song and fumbled around quite a bit, but in doing so showed so much confidence, emotion, dynamics, and vocal control that are just unheard of in even a child a few years older. And I imagine that if she had practiced it for a performance it would have been much cleaner. I watched a more recent cover of "Driver's License" by Connie and I think she is a great singer who like Angelina has a very pleasant voice to listen to. Between 7 and 9 years old I think Angelina was completely untouchable by anyone at that age, as she got a little older maybe a few, very few, other children might have caught nearly up to her performing abilities.

@@robertvirnig638 My main criticism with the majority of today' singers is that you "know" how they are going to sing a song. With Angelina, I am constantly surprised.

Her massive talent became apparent already at that age.

Sarah. I recommend that you go back and listen to her first purblic performance at Norways Got Talent when she was 7 where she starts off with Gloomy Sunday and then do Summer Time later in that performance. That will be a good start for a long trip. She has over 150 covers and songs she wrote. You will love this.

Pretty lame review. Show me another six year old who could do that!!! At least 1 in a billion...She is now 15 and has been signed with Republic for about a year. There is a clip out there that has a sound engineer stating only a handful of artists can do it in one take. Here at Republic we have Beyonce, Sam Smith and now we have Angelina Jordan. Good luck on arguing your case against pure genius and talent!!
