@@unholydriver4987 I have to disagree. Music was good in the 70's but it wasn't there yet. The fruit really became ripe in the 80's and lasted through the 90's and very early 2000's but it then went downhill. The only good bands we have these days were actually around in those golden days.

@@Trygvar13 in terms of rock n roll i’ve always viewed the 80s as the start of the rock downfall. once rock became glam and started mixing with pop music you knew things were coming to an end. that’s why grunge is considered the movement that kicked rock back into gear. nothing tops the first wave of classic rock late 60s early 70s. don’t get me wrong the 80s were fun but the music had no substance all people cared about was getting hits and making catchy music with not much substance. every hair metal song is about women and drugs and pretty much all hair bands are derivative of each other and sound the same. and again i’m speaking very generally abt the decade. I know some bands like Rush where some of their greatest material is in the 80s. but overall i think 70s, in terms of songwriting, was just better. maybe it’s because of the era, a war had just ended, but even the pop music in 70s like disco has more substance than glam bands

@@dylancole1910 Synesthesia is a neurological experience in which stimulation of one sensory or cognitive pathway (for example, hearing) leads to automatic, involuntary experiences in a second sensory or cognitive pathway (such as vision or in this case taste). Simply put, when one sense is activated, another unrelated sense is activated at the same time. This may, for instance, take the form of hearing music and simultaneously sensing the sound as swirls or patterns of color.

This is probably my favorite song of all time!
I was a young adult in the 80's and just worked out and partied and my focus was on rock and chicks. It was fun and crazy. Obviously Whitesnake's guitarist took notes from Jimmy Page with the violin bow on guitar and curious how Coverdale did a project with Page later in kind of a lukewarm collaboration. Still of the Night was a tune you just had to turn up. I think the chick in the video was Tawny Kitaen, his short term wife who "made the rounds" in the music scene... in her prime she was a hot commodity.
