The Palace of Culture and Science is no longer the tallest building in Poland, it is the building visible next to it, i.e. the Varso Tower. Varso Tower is also probably the highest in the EU.

Yes, with the antenna, Varso Tower is highest in EU: (including also the UK). It has 310 m by - 40 cm higher than London' Shard. :)
@LDNpat

@@jacekboczarski6698 Roof height is only 236 whilst Shard is 309 so the one in Warsaw is much smaller, antenna doesn't count.

@@LDNpat Wrong. the antenna counts-according to official measures.: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_tallest_buildings_in_the_European_Union Also Shard top roof is 244m (not 309m)
Just to inform, palm tree at Jeruzalem avenue was set here on order to commemorate "small Jeruzalem", a jews settlement from XVIIIc. Each symbol, monument, sign etc on Warsaw has some connection to history :)
Polish people say that the best view of Warsaw is from the observation deck at the top of the Palace of Culture..why ? Because you cant see the Palace of Culture. 😀 .

You're warmly welcome to Tanzania in this coming summer season which starts from June - October and see the large group of wildebeest migrants from one place to another. The Great Wildebeest Migration is the largest animal migration in the world. Every year, more than 2 million animals (wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle) are in the northern Serengeti plains, and you have a chance of seeing up to thousands crossing the river. As the sight of the wildebeest crossing is so dramatic, it is considered by many and the most desirable time to see the migration.
God bless you and your family

12:15 right down there, behind you, in that courtyard that was once the property of the owner of the palace that hosts hotel Indigo nowadays, there is a number of shot bars (more than 20 probably) with the most amazing night life you could experience. I really hope you discovered it while staying in the hotel and would show it in one of your next videos. If you haven't, then... well, look around you more carefully next time, sometimes you can find unexpected gems if you do.
In My opiniom Poland is the place to traveling. itli's amazing Gdańsk, Malbork, Toruń, Warszawa, Lublin, Łódź, Kraków, Katowice, Wrocław, Poznań, Szczecin

In fact, the modern city centre with the Palace of Culture and other high-rise buildings that you saw at the beginning is not "the new town". The New Town (Nowe Miasto in Polish) is the official name of the district that starts a few metres north of the Old Town. This historic New Town was built as late as in the 14/15th century, hence the name :)
wow

It's actually illegal to sell 'Gołka' cheese as 'Oscypek'. Gołka is 2 maybe 3 times cheaper to make because it uses cow milk instead of sheep (they're milked only in the season and you can't preserve the cheese quality). It was a common practice between dishonest shop owners to sell it to tourists. Nowadays they try some crafty ways to name them like: a'la Oscypek or something like this haha. Oscypek is not necessarily better though. A lot of people prefer Gołka.
