As usual, Filipinos are die-hard fanatics in social media. Other nationalities are not that crazed in social media. Real talk, Filipinos have big craving for publicity and feeling of importance everywhere that's why social media is the arena of validation, Reality Check😂😂😂

In 2019, we had an Indian IT expat working in Makati. He was surprised that Filipinos smiled at him and asked how he is… Even in the office, he was greeted by strangers and he was a bit shocked. I noticed that Indians are serious when they talked. Fast forward, that Indian expat stayed in Manila even after his 1 year consultancy job and he now works in other BPO company. He even brought his Indian girlfriend here.

Filipinos are a very hospitable and friendly people. They always smile no matter how they feel. If meeting someone for the first time, it would be good to smile at the person before you even start a conversation. That's the reason whylovin' Philippines hopefully retire and going back home for good . By the way enjoy watching vids , i love the energy and acting like a Local, Not a Tourist! I miss these kind of place(rural areas). Most of the time I'm in the city, working, busy life. These muds, greenery etc is the thing i want. I'm excited to go home for vacation and go to the places i been before

You can experience greenery and thick muds near Metro Manila. Go to Montalban or anywhere in Calabarzon that isn't near Pasig or Marikina lol. But the people aren't as poor or traditional there, usually people do long rides there with bikes.

I recommend after Moalboal you go to Malapascua Island in Cebu, then after exploring the island you go to Kalanggaman Island. You can take a boat directly from Malapascua to Palompon (Kalangaman). It's a small island in Palompon, Leyte where you can stay for 24Hrs in a small hut or tent. You will feel a castaway-like vibe in Kalanggaman Island. Have fun :)

While you're in Cebu, if you want a Boracay white sandy beach vibe on a budget, definitely check out Bantayan Island. Its like an 1.5hrs boat ride north of Cebu. Alot less crowded than Boracay so you can definitely take in the beauty and sit back and chill with a coke zero! HAHAHA!

08:45 hi Ali, these side street places which are ubiquitous all over the Philippines whether you're in the city or provinces are called "carinderias", they're not the typical street food in the sense that here there are tables and also the kind of food served are your Filipino home cooked style foods and not your "you can eat while literally on the go" foods, this is the place where you can find the Filipino food choices that are considered proper meals and not street food. Usually a rice with two viands plus softdrinks will cost you around PHP 100 to PHP 120 so roughly a little over One dollar US for a full meal.

You guys being shocked why infant milk, wine and cigarettes are in the same isle on the mall. Wine and cigarettes are moderated commodity means it is only being sold for ages 18 and up and infant milk was sold differently here. Some of the supermarket selling infant milk and you need to confirm that's the milk you are buying and they will check with you the exp date of the milk (probably to avoid lawsuit if baby became ill due to the milk that they bought)

Nope, they are kept in a separate area bucause they are moderated/controlled. Cigarette and wine are sold only to above 18 y/o. And infant milk as you need to present prescription as what the milk code mandated.

Filipinos know where to keep all the essential juices under one roof - Milk and wine together! That's the way to go! :) Actually when I was a student we had this special drink in the University canteen, it was called Tigers milk, of course it was not from actual tiger, but it was Rum and hot milk mixed together, like a kind of tea :) I must admit I liked it :)))
