this is the first female president shown in the babylon 5 universe how ever in the flash back movie in the beginning the president during the earth minbari war is female, i also like how the pope is female in babylon 5.

How can you be a Babylon 5 fan and not have seen In the Beginning? Okay most people thought that movie was unwatchable but's no excuse.

Some could have benefited from more production funds. Third Space is pure Lovecraft and could have been terrifying. Still the story is good and B5 to the core. It does remind me of Quartermass And The Pit.

Different person played by Caroyln Seymour she also played in many SciFi shows including Star Trek & Quantum Leap, in the scene your referring to she was an Earth Gov Senator.

For some time I thought President Santiago was a woman, indicated by the dialog, "she's doing better" and I think some other lines, but was clarified to be a man.
