Hey i had both si tech and apex dump valves but both have leaked, on dive i have open anð turn back 3 notches, is there a best way to dive with exhaust valve? Cheers if reply

All valves tend to leak a little whenever they vent. I tend to leave my valves quite tight similar to you, so it only vents when it needs to. It may be worth running a quick leak test with some soapy water just to be sure the leak isn't coming from somewhere else. It's common for a leak to travel along a seam before finding it's way inside the suit.
