Few things & Quinn mentioned how yall are noticing more in the back ground. Remember the statue in vought square that was of soldier boy. Also, Butcher is not working w M.M. as of yet, all those news articles were old clippings of M.M. past. Remember him talking lil bout his fam before... more to follow but why would someone have a closet full of old news bout a particular supe. It's a bit sad how much Homelander steals the show here because Karen Fukuhara did such a good job in portraying emotions through facial expressions. Kimiko is mute, but you always kinda know what she feels or thinks about. Her character grew on me really quickly. Also, I don't think Kimiko understood much English in the beginning either. She just observed the facial expressions of Frenchie when he talked to her, which made her realize that he doesn't want to harm her.

I've been looking forward to this for ages. Antony Starr is on fire this season. How he keeps getting better I'll never know.

Homelander is one of those rare villains who becomes more terrifying the more human and vulnerable they get, instead of the other way. That "what'd you say?" almost got me the first time I heard it, and I don't particularly care for A-Train's safety. The deal between Homelander and Butcher is such a good scene. You guys don't know what you're in for for season 3.

Characters (and the audience) being on edge 24/7 and being able to set him off at any time, even when he’s not near due to his hearing, is way scarier than if he was just a cold and calculated killer with no emotions. Homelander very rarely thinks logically anymore, he just acts on his emotions, and his emotions are INTENSE.

Brace yourselves, because if you thought the first two seasons were crazy, the third takes the cake for sure! I‘m so excited!

Anthony Starr in Banshee is absolutely exceptional. And if you watch it, you'll see where he gets the Homelander facial expresisons. He's always been a very gifted facial actor. I think his Homelander role has really allowed him to put his individual chops together in a great way.

Banshee is one of the best shows I have ever watched. That why I was so excited for the Boys when it premiered! Matthew Rauch was incredible and Lili Simmons is drop-dead gorgeous.

A couple years ago I went back to visit my parents and saw them watching Banshee. I saw a couple eps and was very intrigued but still haven't caught it properly yet!

31:00 At this point, Butcher is the closest thing to a friend, more like a acquitance who he can talk freely. Yeah, Butcher hates him but also doesn't fear him. Which is something Homelander likes.

Oh ya'll about to be in for it this season......Previous 2 seasons had nothing on this one in terms of shock factor, and yet still sooooooo goooooodddd......

masterclass of acting from antony starr in this show truly one of the greatest performances of our generation

Tony knew that he needed to blind "Nadia" to keep her from popping his head. Armed with that knowledge, the guys might like to review the scene when heads started poppin' all over during the Congressional Hearing into Vought's activities - we can see that Victoria Neuman, while acting shocked, is looking directly - albeit briefly - at every one of the victims just before they lose their heads. Like the true nature of _Stormfront_ it was all being played out in front of our eyes, hidden in plain sight!

Excited for you all to watch the rest of this season and hope you watch Gen V too!

@@kempkennedy3542 I mean, by the 3rd Season here, I'm getting kind of annoyed with The Boys because of several plot decisions, we'll see if Season 4 changes that. Don't know if you can see what I mean but I won't go into a rant about that otherwise we'd never finish here, lol. Gen V, I've just been watching to keep up with the story but you can only watch a show with the youth so many times before it starts getting on your nerves. But so far the guys seem to still enjoy the show and even though I agree with you about Gen V being a full tier below the original, I still feel like it's deserving of being in the same universe, so I think they will still enjoy it.

Supposedly the actress who plays Victoria Newman and Hughie are dating in real life. So that flirting was real. Anthony Starr was the lead in an HBO series called Banshee. FANTASTIC series for binge watching.

@@missm0rte855 Even with just the first 5 seasons, being 20+ episodes each season, I doubt they'd wanna do it. It would be incredible, though. And yeah, I also really like the whole series, not just the first five seasons, even though they were on a different level.

Season 3 is currently still the best season, I have enough faith in the whole team (they basically have the entire original supernatural filming crew) that I would be shocked if season 4 wasn't the best season after it's out.

If you love the writing of The Boys you'll probably love Supernatural! It's completely different from The Boys as obviously Supernatural is older (2005-2020) and aired on mainstream TV so had to be less... well shocking lol. Eric Kripke is the main 'creator' of both shows. I really recommend Supernatural if you haven't watched it, it's really long (15 seasons, the longest running sci-fi/fantasy tv show in the US) so is a pretty big project to sink your teeth into, but the writing in that show is freaking awesome. You actually can see the improvement as the years progress, it just gets better and better. Antony Starr played twins in Outrageous Fortune (a NZ TV series). I honestly thought he was actually two different actors, twins playing twins, until I paid attention to the credits lol.

This season is fucking wild

Btw there is a whole series of interviews with the cast after each episode and it’s almost as entertaining as the show itself!

As a Kiwi, both Antony & Karl are so widely known here - I grew up watching both of these guys in an NZ soap Shortland Street in the early 90s and both were in Xena. I love that while the world is absolutely flabbergasted at the bizarre/gross/wtf things Homelander says and does in the show, we saw him on tv here in a show called Outrageous Fortune back in '05 and he has elevated some of his performances from that show almost seemlessly to this one. He did some wild things in that show hahaha (absolutely worth a watch even privately if you manage to get a hold of the dvds). Both of these actors are so good at what they do and it's awesome to see them be appreciated for their acting chops by so many too.

Steve Carrell is the only other Actor I can think of who is that good with their facial expressions

Theres no way you've never seen Heat! My dads a huge fan of those old boss main character movies during the 80"s and 90"s and I will say I watched it when I was 20 and it definitely holds up what a film. Please watch it id love to see you lots reaction👍🏼
