Thanks for the detailed answer you gave me ! By the way I am interested in playing fire mage in arena 2v2 as fire/disc priest or fire/holy paladin and in 3v3 as MLS (FireMage,AffliLock,RestoShaman). I didn’t know shatter worked with fire in classic good to know get a trinket get them halfway DB into ring set up a pyro LB into cs combustion

can you link us the weakaura that shows the spell cd onscreen?

glyph of arcane intellect is useful because if it is dispelled, you can apply it without losing mana.

i dont fully understand do i have to cast living bomb after the pyro and then combust ? isnt it better to cast living bomb before and then pyro/combust ? like does it have to be a "fresh" living bomb for more damage ? also what about the flame orb dosnt that increse the combust damage too ?? i thought its more like: living bomb/flame orb/instant pyro into shatter / combust ?

I actually tried to expetiment with Living bomb and its lenght on how it affects Combusyion. I casted LB and instant Combustion and then i did LB and combustion on half duration and damage was the same. Idk is it private server or it works like that. I honeslty didnt know Flame orb affects combustion damage, that isnt damage over time effect, its a ability that focuses closest target? Btw that combo you said is good in theory i would like to see how Shattered Pyro happen in real fight without Ring of frost and instant pyro ptoc

Whats the addon you use that shows up abilities coming off CD that fade out on your character, and whats the addon that if you get Garrote or cheap shot it'll show it on your character?

Some questions also if you can answer please : At 18:42 you said the perfect opener would be first to Frost nova and then Dragon’s Breath and maybe a counterspell. 1) Why should we use Frost nova though since he is already Dragon-Breathed ? Is it because we can cast a Pyroblast (or a Fireball) during the time he is Frost Nova-Dragon-Breathed and make use of the shatter talent and maybe bait his Trinket/ or his Antimagic shield? 2)Also what spell is best to use besides Pyroblast after Frost Nova->Dragons Breath if you don’t have enough time to cast Pyroblast ? Scorch or Fire Blast or something else ? 3)Also against what other 1v1 matchups you use Frost nova -> Dragons Breath as an opener ? 4) Dragons Breath -> Ring of frost is in general a bad opener since they can trinket it ? 5)At 24:07 did the shatter proc ? It seems like Frost nova ends for some weird reason during Dragon breath. Does it still count as a frozen target even then ? I would be so happy if you could answer these questions 😅😅

1) Yes we use frost nova and breath to make a shatter next pyro 2) fireball 3) you can use it against whoever bro 4) its great in theory but in real time ppl aleays trinket when you use both breath and ring i same time in opener, and why shouldnt they? You literally now have dr on Poly and you dont have Breath, so yeah its a trinket 5) Who knows, it shouldnt count as a frozen but this is private server so everything is possible 😏

u should add in section about race. which races counter some and best for PVP.. like night elf for casters, gnome to remove slows and u slow dem down so u can kite melee etc. troll for pve and more ticks of fire boomb. also most fun mage ability are probably that fire boots talent that give u slow/root cleanse and bonus movement speed plus abilities like arcane torrent into ring of frost

Hey in wotlk u had to download Cheese addon for ptivate servers. But in Cata it seems like i had it from start idk. If you are on Cata Classic try downloading SpellActivationOverlay or just make WeakAura when HotStreak occures

@@NibbaiWotlk Its a s.hitty add-on compared to plate buffs. default settings are not the same and also I don't like the color of the addon. plate buffs offered everything I need.

Nameplates have nothing with these debuffs above it, they are 2 different addons. Plates are ThreatPlates and debuffs are Platebuffs. Both are for private servers(threat is also available on classic cata through Curse Forge app)

Yes i think i mentioned it freezes target on edge of the ring. In gameplay i missed it 9n gargoyle 😅

Glyph of Dragon Breath is useless. Idk if it is bug or not, but even without this glyph(20sec DB cd) you get diminishing for second DB if cast same target right after 1st DB. You need to wait 2 more sec after cd is off.

@NibbaiWotlk there are only 2 instances where u would get a chance to cast a fireball in arena, "generally" against a target that is polyd or a target in ring of frost. in 1 of those 2 scenarios you already have gaurenteed crit from shatter and in the other. it mostly only happens in 1v1 or target swaps occasionally in 3s. point being that 5% is hardly being put use each game. and theirfor I'd take extra living bomb dmg 3% consistent
