Finntroll is probably the most unique contemporary (folk) metal band out there. They have a completely original sound, and that's why I love their stuff

I love Finntroll =) Always have since 1998. And they are still awsome. Nattfödd means "Nightborn" btw in Swedish. Under bergets rot, means "under the mountains root".

Born (född) from the night (natt). Jag älskar svenska! Learning it right now. I honestly almost never listened to Finntroll. However, I first found out this song on Vögguvísur Yggdrasils from Skálmöld. ?True story.

Saw these guys live twice great experience the crowd is totally different than any metal crowd out there there was moshing but also dancing in equal measure the two often melted into each other.

I think you have the most canadian accent I've ever heard, and I watched all seasons of Letterkenny. Oh and you should check out some older Finntroll with the original singer (who had to quit due to health issues). Anything from Jaktens Tid would be nice to see your reaction to.

Seen lots of major bands, but best gig was Finntroll in a small club called Fryshuset in Stockholm. That was fucking crazy

Nice fact about Finntroll: their guitarist Skrymer makes all the artwork himself and nowadays works as a tattoo artist too! Been dreaming for a long time to get something from him. Also since you've been listening to some Korpiklaani, I would recommend listening to Finntroll's Jaktens Tid, which has Korpiklaani's Jonne yoiking (? is that even a word) in it!

That would be amazing since Norther is my favorite band. Speaking of Norther, Heikki has a couple of nice live shows on his channel that you could check out. I recommend the "Dead" or "Death Unlimited" in Tavastia.

@@APREACTS No goblins or trolls, but "Mourning Sun" has a certain vibe that might remind you of Wintersun's "Loneliness". Might not be fitted for a reaction video since nobody else mentioned it, but I have a feeling you'll like it. Might be food for a future series "hidden stuff that few people know about". For trolls and other fantastic creatures, maybe try Haggard. They've got an interpretation of "Herr Mannelig"- a Swedish ballad involving a troll :)

The first album that had Vreth on it I thought was kinda boring. Not much range on the vocals. The last album they put out, though, he’d mastered the vocal style of all past vocalists, as well as his own. Also, I’m weird. I like “Helvete” and “Fiskarens Fiende”

Vreth's first album had the best vocals IMO, the rest sound like a less skilled vocalist took over. Then again I guess it does sound more "trollish" but I don't like it all that much.
