Finishing Thumb Bucket & Building the Banana Cannon!

Тәжірибелік нұсқаулар және стиль

Thumb Bucket Trail is now complete! All the sections are linked together, which means we have one monster route from the top of the mountain. At the end of this new section, we built the "Banana Cannon" to launch you over the Berm and on to the main line. All materials were sourced from Berm Peak. Today we'll do some machine trail building, finish work with hand tools, building with wood, and a whole lot of figuring out.

My neighbour came over one day, with a familiar looking object in his hands! I laughed, I mean, what were the chances that I would ever see my phone again? For shits and giggles, I plugged it in and came back several hours later. The phone powered up and operated like the day I lost it - incredible!

For pulling that tree down the ideal solution is to use a pulley block attached to a nearby tree so the you can pull from the opposite direction the tree will fall. Always a great day when Seth uploads, he’s the one who inspired me to make my own biking and trial building yt channel. I’m so glad he’s here and don’t wanna see him stop what he does best.

That little roller section needs to be named "Hey Siri". Amazing work as usual - can't wait for the full ride-through.

I’ve been waiting weeks for this kind of video, they’re the ones that inspired me to make my own trails in my backyard. Believe it or not, almost every feature you built, I built.

I love slopestyle and dirtjumping and berm peak is the perfect channel for that. I love mountain biking, so does Seth and Kevin, so that makes this channel awesome.

In a pinch you can use Gaia GPS on your phone. It’s free and works really well.

The learning curve is pretty steep, but there’s an excellent free, open source program called QGIS that is designed specifically for doing that sort of geographically-aware graphical work. I’ve made some pretty complex combination satellite/topographic/road/trail maps with it.
