I am so happy to have finally found how to do what I have in visioned for these marriage records I cross stitched for my son's and their wives. Hallelujah!
I need to make another comment.......this is one of the very best tutorials I have seen in a very long time...thank you so much
This is the best finishing video EVER! Thank you ever so much!
Thank you for such a thorough and entertaining video!! Now I can do this instead of always making pillows!
Seriously! previous commenter. This video/tut is amazing!!!!!
I could easily give up TV and watch quilt shop shows all day. Thanks for all you do for stitchers!
I appreciate that you show the entire process without taking out the struggles, so when we try the technique we understand it is part of doing the project. thank you for taking the time to show us these great tricks when finishing our "masterpieces". Happy Sewing!
That was the best video on finishing your projects, I learned some awesome tricks, THANK YOU!!!
I don’t think I ever learned so much from one video! I have a stack of cross stitch, frames, etc and now I can finish them! Thanks so much for the great video!
Thank you for making a full length video that shows EVERY step. 😃
Lisa is right. I love this video
Hot glue doesn’t dry real flat like the wet glue does. A good double sided tape works feat for this as well like what one would use to make a mini album. This is a great video ladies thank you
What a great tutorial from Primitive Gatherings again ! Thanks Kathy for your clear instructions and demo of lacing, gluing tips, supplies. Anxious to try your techniques to finish some wool projects! Thank you! Kathy is a natural at instruction ... love listening to her.
Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge, Kathy! I now feel like I can tackle my stack of finished stitching projects.
Kathy and Lisa thanks so much for showing us how easy it is to frame our own work! Saves a bundle and I'm sure gives a big sense of accomplishment in finishing our own work! Love these videos!!!

Hello Carmen Montmarquet how are you doing and how’s the weather over there? I was going through comments when I came across your post.. I would love to be a friend, would be nice if you can add me up, i hope you don’t mind?
If you put a piece of wet sponge on the bottom of that cup, your glue tip won’t dry up.
Oh-by-gosh, I loved this video, very cool 😎 thanks for sharing this 😀 💜
I think I like the idea of pinning better then threading.

Loved the video, thank you Kathy & Lisa for making it. The cross stitch is awesome, can you tell me what count of cloth you stitched it on?
You look lovely!
I loved your finishing ideas and techniques. Thank you so much for sharing. Please could I ask the name of the designer for the cross stitch project - it's lovely! Greetings from and English ex-pat living in Southern Spain! 🥰
What is the purpose of lacing? I've been hearing this since I started cross stitcing recently.
♥️
Where can I get the winder? I’ve looked many places.
Do you have an suggestions for round cross stitch? As far as weaving goes and all the pleats it makes?

❤️🧡💛 so good! Do you have tips/instructions for how to prep our finished work? I remember back in the 80s taking a cross-stitch of class and being told to wash our finished piece before framing. Is that still recommended?
@kathydecker889

I wouldn't wash a cross stitch piece, unless it got really dirty for some reason! I just iron from the back side, on a towel or wool mat. That's really all the preparation I did for these. Floss colors aren't always colorfast, so I'd be cautious about getting them wet.
