Glad you liked the Gidgee, our desert acacias are pretty impressive timbers, sort of a mix of Koa and Desert Ironwood in terms of qualities except that from memory its about the 3rd hardest timber in the world. Looks great, all the best with your sales and knife shows!

Hey E, I saw a Will Stelter tip on wiping epoxy from the front of the scales with mineral oil. It will clean the epoxy and not compromise the bond. Seems to work well.

I think its my new favorite TRE knife! I use acetone to clean up epoxy but what I do is after wiping the excess off with dry paper towel, wet another paper towel and wait for it to evaporate. This way the acetone wont soak into the epoxy and ruin it but you still have enough to properly clean all epoxy traces off the knife. Kinda like a soaked rag compared to one thats been rung out.

Its Starbond CA glue. We use it to fill voids in handle material and to do a "CA Finish" on scales here and there.
