And I just found a new podcast to subscribe. I love making knives and making in general. Brian's great dude sharing all of his knowledge. I've learned a lot from him and many, many others starting with Walter Sorrells, Mike @ ekim knives, Jerimy, the guys at knife talk, and more that im leaving out. I learn so much from the interviews on podcasts, and so interesting to hear the journy they have all been through, not unlike my own. Looking forward to helping you bring your numbers up. Good luck and thank you for your time. From a Guy in Tucson
Just one more thing im building because of you. Finishing converting my kiln this evening. Thank you!

The truth is Brian, I really like soft lines on my kitchen knives and many of my other work knives too. So the soft platen is genius, and I thank you 🙏 my sansei for teaching me a new technique... and for introducing me to Beck’s Armory, which I Sub’d. I learn so much from you, I watch several time to pick up what I dropped the first times. I had a work accident where I received a TBI, it takes a a bit longer to re-learn what I’ve been doing for 45 years. I’m going to order your belt grinder kit and plans pretty soon...

Brian you are the man!
Wow!nice knife work. Got my kit last week and I’m cleaning and de burring when I have a minute. Got a used Dayton motor on eBay for under 100. The controller is on the way. I ordered your wheels today, they seem to be the best I could find. I’m a gunsmith and have wanted a belt grinder for years. I’ll post again Thanks. P.S. the tape are called spiral fluted taps. We use them in CNC machines. The chips come out the front so they don’t build up in the work piece.

Hoping you pull together the other parts - motor, VFD, etc. that you mentioned may be available thru your site instead of going out to the sites you list. Either way, I'm sold this is the way to go for me being a weekend warrior and just getting into knives and metal work after years of construction and woodworking. @@HouseMadeUS Brian I am going to buy 1 of your grinder kits, but the Iron horse 2 hp and speed controller is not available, I have a Lincoln Electric 280 amp 220 volt stick burner and a miller popcorn wire feeder flux core120 volt, I want to get the motor first is there any others that will work ? I was a fabricator and shipyard welder 40 years ago and do most of my own welding on my stuff. You have inspired me in the past I have made a few knives with a 1 x 42 belt grinder just stock removal did a few with files long road but the bevels are nice help me out if you can your advise is great at least. Iron Horse makes a 11/2 hp and a 3hp that have the same specs $167 11/2 hp and $235 for 3 hp your choice would be ? thanks
